Could Trump's victory lead to saner DC crime policy?

As someone put it, isn’t it time that we locked up shoplifters and not what’s on the shop shelves?

I forgot who said this originally, but every time someone had to ring a buzzer to get a store worker to unlock a product, it was another vote for Trump.

Putting a criminal in charge of the country is supposed to be bad for criminals, how?

I hope he pardons the two cops that got 5 years for chasing to apprehend a gang member who didn’t wear a helmet and crashed himself trying to outrun the cops.

Why, yes, it could. Couldn’t really get more insane. My expectations will take little to be satisfied as the result

There is the liberal definition of crime and the voting public's definition. The former failed to move many voters, the latter moved many.

Yes, of course it will. It makes him look good. Rising crime under Dems, new DC USAO will not be wasting time on January 6th but instead locking up US citizen thugs and sending non-US citizen thugs back.

95% reduction in murders in El Salvador. 90 fking 5. That’s after they locked up anyone with a head tattoo associated with a gang. Hard to argue with those results, but the progressive left would rather have violent cities, apparently.

I thank the big battle is now between softie liberals who think wrap around Servies and retroactive justice will work if given enough time and just straight up honest right folks who know that prison gets violent criminals off the streets. It’s swift and certain punishment. I’m liberal, but I know it works.
