DC Initiative 83 passes with 72%

That's not true. The second, and most important point for me, is that it will allow persons registering as Independent to vote in either the D or the R primary for mayor.

I'm thrilled. I can finally throw off the facade that I'm a Democrat, even though I've been registered that way for almost 20 years. I would hate to die a Democrat.

72.7% =73%

Either way DC Council should have Zero say in whether it’s implemented immediately. Quite frankly, it would be tantamount to both repudiation of democracy and should be equally punishable as taking a bribe. Essentially, should have disbanded it the day they voted to remove term-limits.

Currently I-83 has 72.7% in favor. The OP was at 10:02. At that time, 72.4% of the counted votes were in favor. BOE has progressively updated their vote totals since.

It's incredibly ironic that the causal stupidity you describe is your own. Ignorance and arrogance go hand in hand.

Did you have to Google that too?

It's a Metallica lyric.

Well, I didn’t think it was an original thought. Why start now?

Better to be unoriginal that an unrepentant shithead who projects their false sense of intellectual superiority by *checks notes* accusing others of not knowing how to round their decimals. I mean, come on, I know second graders that demonstrate more maturity than you’ve put on show for all of us here.

To be fair you didn’t know how to round a decimal until you got called out and googled it

You don't have to post every idiot idea that flits through.your brain.
Let it pass by.

If you - as you claim - saw the initial numbers on the DC BOE site (with 174,000 yes votes), then you are the person who doesn’t know how to round a decimal.

I honestly don’t quite understand your apparent obsession with demonstrating your aggressive stupidity. It’s like watching someone repeatedly bang their head up against a wall. Are you OK?

Struck a nerve. Fragile math syndrome 😂 bet you work for the Surgeon Allen

How does DC Council count bribe money when they can’t do basic math?!

Anonymous wrote:Boom. 72% - almost as high as how many people voted to re-elect the prison-bound bribe-taking Council member

They have to fund it. This is the only piece of good news tonight.

This plus, e.g., Marion Barry when people are confused how the right can re-elect Trump.

You are pathetic. It’s plain for all of us to see that it is you and not the OP that can’t do elementary school math. Yet you continue to project your deficiencies on to others. Please share more of your other opinions on local issues so we can identify your posts in future and discount them accordingly.

Changed my registration yesterday. You can do it online and it online take 3 minutes. Very easy to do.

Finally, a way to get rid of Allen, Nadeau and the others; reinstate term limits, get bribe-taking felons of the taxpayer teat.

Provided the city doesn’t get federalized and DC Council disbanded.

Frankly at this point I don’t give a damn. By all means necessary, DC needs to return to a capital city of the most powerful country and not the potholed crime-infested cesspool it’s become

I hope the city gets federalized and our taxes go down!
