If Kamala loses

Because that's exactly what happened during the 4 years he was in office. Enough with the fearmongering, it isn't working

Are the republicans fear mongering on themselves now? Because Christian nationalism aside, I don’t really want to see what this country looks like without the ACA the FDA the NIH the IRS the DOE and the entire federal workforce.

Plus, the Democratic Party will send their shock-troops in Antifa, DSA, BLM, and antisemite groups to burn, loot, and murder just like they did across the US in 2020.

Wow you really are looney tunes.

I mean they did setup their own lawless zone (CHAZ) in Seattle to have space to throw their temper tantrums. You can't deny it didn't exist. Democrats allow anarchy like that to happen. No one wants that trash near them..

So anarchists are democrats? News to me.

then you haven't been watching the news very much - the party's move to anarchy started with the 2020 riots, its support of Hamas against Israel, and the wide open southern border that allowed South American drug gangs to take over in Colorado, NYC, and elsewhere. this is not your Dad's Democrat party.

the riots were mostly right wingers using the Floyd protests to cause trouble. fact.

I know the latter will get a lotta howls and criticisms, but it is true based on sheer raw numbers. You simply cannot win if you keep demonizing one of the largest cohorts of voters.

Enough with bathroom issues, gender affirming care for minors, and all of these other ID issues. The economy and mass illegal immigration are way more important and what voters care about the most.

Most of what Republicans natter on about with DEI is complete nonsense.
Republicans refuse to acknowledge their own toxic divisiveness.
As for the border, Trump and the Republicans killed a bill that would have fixed a lot of the asylum issues along with speeding up deportations and dealing with fentanyl.
As for "bashing straight white males" I think you are in a terminally online right wing bubble. As a straight white male myself I don't at all feel I'm being bashed or threatened in any way at all.
And how do YOU hope to win when you keep demonizing and trashing anyone who criticizes or questions you, like people in your own party? You turn on them like a pack of wolves - like Cheney and others. You are actively driving people out of your own party with your vicious, toxic behavior.
Republicans are the ones who are trying to pass disgusting, intrusive bills at the state level saying that little girls as young as 5 years old have to submit to genital inspections before using the bathroom or being allowed to play with other girls.
And for fcks sake NO they ARE NOT brainwashing kids in schools and giving them sex change operations. Teachers already have their hands full getting your kids to memorize their times tables and history facts. Try talking to an actual teacher.
And again, if you ACTUALLY care about the border then you should be furious with Trump for tanking the border bill, he chose cheap drama and theater over solutions.
And as for the economy, try reading what economists have said about Trump's proposals for 200% blanket tariffs and a 20% sales tax and how much that would drive up inflation and how much more it would end up costing the average American family.

As far as I'm concerned you've been sold a bunch of snake oil. A half-assed diagnosis of the problems, and then a totally wrong cure to fix it.

You're an idiot. The border bill wasn't a real bill. All it did was create a large administrative state in order to let in migrants faster! It'd still let in 1.5M illegal immigrants to pour in every year. I love this stupid dem talking point. As if the border bill did anything to actually control immigration. Lol, people aren't dumb. It was a phony piece of trash to make it appear like they were doing something when in the end all it'd do is give more money to process migrants faster and still let in 1.5M a year. What a joke.

False. Lankford dispelled the lie from the get go. You understand, Fox "News" paid just shy of a billion dollars for lying to its viewers, right? So why do you still believe them?

I think that's likely. Progressives are a lot like far-right conservatives. They get their energy from being confrontational and in opposition. Look at the noise from the last time Trump was president - BLM riots, restorative justice, open borders, misogynistic trans women, All Cops Are Bastards, DEI, math is racist, and so on. The more reasonable and centrist voices in the Democratic Party cowered in the face of progressives. It's one of the reasons Democrats are struggling to beat Trump today. People associate the Democratic Party with really peripheral and unpopular policies that alienate the vast majority of Americans. I think Harris did her best, but Democrats have a real problem with their very noisy and very confrontational progressive base. I think most people will simply wait out the Trump era, and try to elevate whatever remains of the Hogan/Haley/Romney wing of the Republican Party for sane leadership. Progressives are destroying the Democratic Party. And Gaza has energized them further. It's going to be a mess. I fully expect four years of rioting and looting.

I don't know about that. The progressives shriek loudly but I don't really think they even have that much power. In Congress, they had what, "The Squad?" Do the numbers - they represent less than 1% of Congress and even that bloc has not held as AOC has drifted out of the fold. They are not all that powerful in reality and I don't think Democrats should or need to cower in fear of them.

But can the same be said of the Republicans? To me it seems the MAGAs now make up a significant majority of the GOP and they hold the rest in lockstep and will cast out and primary anyone who dares question them.

This. Then they will continue to advocate for things like abolishing ICE, defunding the police, and using tax dollars to pay for felon’s sex change surgery and claim that people voting against them are simply racists.

The immigration bill increases staffing and funding for ICE - Harris said she would sign it. Trump hasn't.
The different Biden bills provided funding for Law Enforcement nationwide. The Democrats voted for it, the Republicans voted against it.
Felons sex change operations happened under Trump's presidency.

Maybe you should read up on things before spouting nonsense.

That's right. She fully supports the Lankford bill that would provide funding for border security, for ICE agents, for improved detection of fentanyl at the border, for fixing some of the broken parts of the asylum seeker process that would let us more quickly send back the 80% plus of asylum seekers that are ineligible, it would greatly improve the adjudication process reducing the 2+ year backlog in deportation cases which could eliminate "catch and release", it would codify "remain in mexico" type policy for asylum seekers and many other things.

Trump TANKED THAT BILL.

As usual, the globalists at DCUM completely ignored HR2 ...

H.R. 2 includes a laundry list of essential immigration reforms long fought for by immigration experts;

* Plugging loopholes in the asylum system that are currently being exploited by economic migrants by raising the bar for “credible fear” claims and denying entry to aliens claiming asylum at the border who have passed through a safe third country on their way to the United States and failed to apply in that safe country;
* Blocking the administration from continuing its catch-and-release policy by making most illegal aliens ineligible for parole or release from custody other than to be returned to their home country or to a contiguous country to await the adjudication of their asylum claim there (Remain in Mexico);.
* Preventing family units who cross the border illegally from being released into the United States by requiring family units apprehended at the border to be detained, protecting them from exploitation and victimization by the cartels and traffickers;
* Reining in the breathtaking and illegal abuse of parole that this administration has been using to create its own immigration system outside of the confines of the Immigration and Nationality Act; and
* Installing teeth into efforts to deter visa overstays.

Perhaps most importantly, the bill would require employers to check the legal status of new hires through the free, easy-to-use E-Verify system. By making it much harder for illegal aliens to find jobs, the reform would deter would-be migrants from ever journeying to the United States.

and yet Democrats have shown they are not serious about controlling immigration, and it seems that increasing immigration is a policy choice by Democrats.

no US worker should ever vote for the current globalist, anti-worker Democrats

The Lankford Bill would have accomplished just about everything in HR2, whereas HR 2 had MANY gaps and holes in it that were addressed by Lankford's bill. For one, there is NOT A SINGLE MENTION of fentanyl anywhere in it. And many experts pointed out that HR2 would in fact probably worsen child trafficking and other things.

The Border Patrol Union ENDORSED the Lankford bill. It was a better bill.

Down ballot: Republicans have a slim majority in the House 221-214 majority including current vacancies.

New maps: Democrats need to gain only 5 seats to win control of the House. Democrats have a few paths to achieving it.

21 Republican seats are competitive with 15 of them being toss-ups or already favoring Democrats.

8 Republican seats are in districts in the deep blue states New York and California.

Kamala is not a progressive. Enough with your BS.

And misogyny and racism are real.

So this! She's a gun-owning prosecutor who supports fracking. So sick of ppl who label everyone "far left" just bc we don't want to separate children from their mother.

I'm afraid Trump is going to win, so I'm telling myself his administration won't be as bad as his critics fear it will be. It'll be over in four years and we won't have to deal with him again.

I’m not sure if the rioting/protests will be worse if Harris or Trump loses. Anyone prepping? For those planning to leave the country, will it be safe to fly? Will airports be functional?

Lots of doom posting on DCUM suggests we all need bunkers.

if Kamala really is on the side of US workers and not educated elites, she would jump on this ...

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) has introduced a major piece of legislation that would require most employers to use E-Verify within two years of enactment. Large employers, federal, state, and local agencies and federal and state contractors would need to comply within six months. The bill would also make the E-Verify program permanent and reinstate the no-match letter program to help identify the 7 million illegal aliens currently holding non-agricultural jobs.

S.4529, the Mandatory E-Verify Act of 2024, would:
- Phase in E-Verify over 18 months, starting with the largest companies first.
- Require the use of E-Verify for those contracted at day labor sites and other referral or recruitment services.
- Protect employers who use the system in good faith from liability if the system makes an error on eligibility.
- Protect states' and localities' authority to revoke business licenses of employers who fail to use E-Verify as required by this Act.
- Significantly increase the penalties for employers who refuse to use the system, or who intentionally try to game it.
- Notify employers when there is suspicious, multiple uses of the same Social Security number and requires the employers to run the employee through E-Verify.

Please send a message to your U.S. Senator(s) and urge him/her to cosponsor S. 4529, the Mandatory E-Verify Act of 2024.

Democrats need to focus on policies that win elections.

If they stopped the overwhelming immigration, they would never lose.

mandate e-verify
repeal H1XXB and OPXXT job replacement visas

They supported a bill that would do that and Trump killed it.

just more rewriting recent history, just amazing how educated elites will twist to preserve their fantasy.

why Kamala will lose - her drive to amnesty!

I cannot understand how any Member of Congress can truly believe that passing an amnesty for illegal aliens is the answer to the border crisis! According to Politico, a group of six U.S. Representatives are working on an amnesty "compromise" that would legalize DACA illegal aliens and increase legal immigration numbers. Even if this amnesty legislation contains token "enforcement" provisions, passing it during a border crisis would only encourage more people to come to the U.S. illegally.

The House of Representatives passed legislation last year to end the border crisis: H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act. The Senate has refused to seriously consider this legislation, even though it would end the current crisis and do a lot to prevent future crises from occurring. To remind you, H.R. 2 would end the border crisis by plugging the loopholes in our asylum system that are exploited by illegal economic migrants, restoring its integrity and protecting it for legitimate asylum seekers; blocking the Biden administration from continuing its policies of catch-and-release, thus deterring future waves of illegal migrants; putting a stop to the surges of family units and unaccompanied alien children, protecting them from exploitation and victimization by the cartels and traffickers; putting teeth into efforts to deter visa overstays; reining in the breathtaking and illegal abuse of parole; and instituting mandatory nationwide E-Verify, which would shut off the "jobs magnet" for illegal immigration while protecting jobs for American workers.

pass H.R. 2 now!

Her political career is definitely over if she loses. She's already old. She's only running now because of the emergency situation (emergency because the Democrata spent the past 8 years painting themselves into a corner starting with Clinton)
The primary function of a VP is to bolster an election. Losing an election is failing at the One Job.

The Democrats are dead unless the aging Clinton faction gives up its stranglehold.

what? trump is 78 and biden is 81.

Sexism.... but that's doesn't exist in this campaign.
