Caught a Lyft Driver Pissing In My Yard

Anonymous
I’m 41 but I (woman) had to pee in a park once. I was out on one of my longer walks when I suddenly had to pee. My options were to head back home, or towards the park where there is a Porta Potty. I headed there only to find the PP gone! It was urgent, so I found the most hidden tree and quickly squatted.

Just thought I’d share, because you never know the circumstances.

I have a picture of him, his car, and his license plate but I cant seem to be able to report him unless I open an account with Lyft. My daughter was with me and she saw his junk when he turned around so he also technically exposed himslef to a minor. I'm thinking about calling FCPD.

Where do you report this to Lyft?

You should take a moment to be grateful and reflect on your good fortune that THIS is the worst thing you have to deal with.

I mean, not really? But what was I supposed to do? Pee my pants? Walk miles back home in agony? I mean what would you do? I hope anyone who saw me realized it must have been a dire situation and looked away and offered grace.

He exposed himself to a child. Pedophile. The police will take you seriously.

That’s not how this works, hon.

It’s a penis. Half the world has one. If OP’s daughter can’t handle accidentally glimpsing one because her idiot father confronted someone while he was peeing, then she’s going to have a rough life.

Honestly, this. A flaccid penis peeing as discreetly as possible into a bush.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic. Forgot the /s

You did exactly what any reasonable person would’ve done. You pee’d as discreetly as you were able to in the circumstances. Because doing anything *other* than what you did would be weird.

So you’re basically the most normal person in this thread.

When you gotta go, you gotta go. You're going to extreme lengths to punish someone for a nature call. Weird.

It’s interesting that you don’t count yourself as a “victim” of exposure to a glimpse of his penis, but ONLY your daughter.

That’s super sexist. As though you think your daughter is so fragile that she would be harmed by the sight of a penis, but YOU of course are invincible to such things. That’s seriously F’d up.

Plus, if your daughter is in her mid/late teens, the odds are astronomical that this was not the first penis she’s ever seen in-person.

Not trespassing either unless OP had visible trespass signs already posted which is unlikely.

You are incorrect. It is not necessary to have no trespassing signs.

Depends on the jurisdiction.

However, trespass, regardless of posted signs or not, cannot be legally enforceable unless a letter of trespass is issued to an offender by the owner of the property or law enforcement acting as agent of the owner, that serves the person with notice. If they are subsequently found trespassing again, they can then be charged with trespassing for the second or subsequent infractions.

Oh my god this is one of the biggest non issue "issues" I have read in awhile.

Was it great he was peeing in public? No. Is it worth any drama or second thought? Again...no.

Damn people. Get a life.

Right on! I wish all Americans were like you are, and less prude-like about such a natural body function.

I am from Europe. We do not have such hang ups about doing this outside.

TF is wrong with you, troll? As the mother of a teenager, I'd count myself a victim of trespassing and vandalism, and I'd count my daughter as a victim of indecent exposure, if the pissing trespasser didn't make an effort to hide his genitals when called out.
