CVS new phone system!!!

I don’t care for the new system either but I did get call backs within 2 hours for three different stores I called.

I only call if the online or automated system is incorrect (says I can't refill something after visiting my doctor who wrote refills!) but I can't talk to anyone to fix it unless I actually drive to the freakin pharmacy. HATE THIS SYSTEM.

+1.
It sucks and unfortunately we are seeing this same horrid system creeping into all kinds of businesses. Over the past few months there have been several times when I have had problems with my accounts and it was impossible to get ahold of anyone. Eventually, I just had to give up.

Right. Because if someone gets sick it’s always their own fault, amirite? Kids and babies too.

The poster you are responding to deserves to die a slow and painful death.

I really hate it because I have to call around twice a month (2 different kids) to see if they have ADHD meds in stock before the Dr calls in the prescription. Luckily they call back in about an hour but it’s a complete PITA.

Yes, there are other pharmacies but they’re even worse. Even the mom and pop one.

TLDR; What's wrong with you?

Are you dim? I have to call with questions about do you have x in stock, can I get this early we are out of town, we can’t use this generic, we need a few pills while we wait for the doctor. Be thankful you don’t have a child with a chronic illness that is medication dependent to live FFS. Check yourself.

Its only going to get worse since they're closing a ton of stores.

They also HAVE to have the handicapped spot in the parking lot, and often use the scooters at the grocery store, blocking isles and making life more difficult and dangerous for the able-bodied”

Are you always this arrogant? Or are you arrogant only when you are anonymous on a computer. Do better, who ever you are, just do better.

Try a mom with a kid with cancer whose insurance insists that she uses CVS and needs the medicine so her kid doesn’t die and has to call around to find it and order it and get the right generic. You are a horrible, bizarre human. It must be so weird and sad in your world view.

Just FYI I called a few times right at openning today re a fill issue - bizarre posters that seem confused re what a pharmacy is, the pharmacy said they filled it, the app said they had to send it elsewhere, I drove to elsewhere which was a half hour away and waited for a half hour and if I was going to drive to the other cvs, I wanted to confirm - this is why people need to call, btw, to clear up confusion - and the phone was answered twice!!! It was a steaming hot miracle.

Slightly different issue, but when I was looking for a COVID vaccine and input my zip code, it wouldn't give me appointments at my nearby stores.

We cleared the cookies and tried on a different device, and voila, it came up with different stores and many appointments at my regular store. Why is their computer system doing this?

I’ve had it answered by a human a few times first thing in the morning or after lunch. I was shocked every time.

Between all my kids and myself we have 8 prescription refills every month. Some of which require talking to a human. Those of you that don’t have to deal with this should count yourself lucky.

Mine got cancelled when I showed up. I would suggest going to a Harris Teeter or different pharmacy.

They did an unrequested auto-refill on my old dose and when I went in to pick up my new meds they gave me the old ones instead.

Thankfully I noticed the pill color was wrong and got it resolved, but I was so pissed off to realize that they had given me the wrong dose. They are the worst.

I've been given someone else's medication twice now at CVS.

I was given benzodiazepines, while pregnant, instead of my prenatal.

CVS website is also unusable, everything takes forever to load. Between this and their horrible pharmacy service its no wonder they're closing a ton of stores. Good riddance. We all need to find new pharmacies at least those of us allowed to use other pharmacies. When it's that difficult to do business with a company it's time to move on. The store closing will be a good push for customers with one foot out of the door. Collectively we all need to move on.

Whenever I get a new drug (or a regular drug looks different) I look up what the pill is supposed to look like. It can save a lot of trouble.
