Usually, there aren't news stories about what is going on when diplomats are working behind the scenes. The only reason Brittany G. was in the news is that she was a basketball star. I'm sure if one of these guys was a sports star they would also be in the news more.

This week there is the whole testimony about Trump raw dogging a porn star and then paying her hush money.

On top of that RFK jr. admitting he had a worm eating his brain, above and beyond all the brain cells killing drug use.

I mean, if you want to dumb it down to identity politics instead of the complex international situation it actually was, fine. Yesterday in response to the above I posted the message below - can’t remember the exact words but this is basically it:

If they are working on it, they are doing so incompetently given that these individuals have been held longer in a friendly country than Griner was held in an unfriendly country.

And my post was then deleted by the moderator. People can agree or disagree with my opinion but I really don’t understand what is objectionable about this post. The efforts of the board moderator to protect Democrats are truly puzzling at times.
