The bride is beautiful.

Agree. But also - I guess people are entitled to spend what they want. But why didn’t they get everyone to sign NDAs, take away phones etc.? The point seems to be not only spending but also bragging about it. I bet some famous people we know have had crazy weddings, but we don’t get all the details.

Yes, that’s what I was really getting at because it makes it especially tone deaf and crass. I don’t begrudge anyone who can afford a nice party - I get the pleasure - but this is so over the top and public, it’s tone deaf and disgusting. I said the same about the recent influencer’s wedding in France but this has somehow even topped that. Lots of ick.

The party looks pompous and unenjoyable. I don't see many happy faces. Even the bride's face has a fake smile. Very strange gathering.

This. I mean how clueless do you have to be to do this. It is shameful.

Agree. No rational reason for anyone to have this much wealth. None. Isn’t 1 billion enough? I say tax anything above 1 billion at 99%. Consider it a humble tax.

How much did they pay Ivanka Hillary etc to attend?

LOL. Americans came for free to check the amazing "Indian Wedding" off their bucket list. These people come wagging their tails when people have money. At one time it was the rich oil sheiks and the crazy rich Asians that made them dance on their tunes. Now it is the Indian Billionaires.

The only people who looked as if they belonged to the circus was awfully dressed Americans who do not have a sense for Indian clothes. They looked like clowns. With all that money, you would think that they would get a stylist to dress them up. Horrendous!!

Every American I know who was invited to a lavish Indian wedding was provided everything -- including their clothes -- by the hosts. It would have been offensive to refuse to wear them.

She doesn’t have to please you.

The clothing was beautiful and custom made by top designer and their team. People just racist.

Hate the billionaires for stealing and hoarding wealth, not for your classless attacks on their looks.

We also don't have to agree she is beautiful.

The bride, her nose....

This is just the pre wedding celebration. Crazy.

And you had a brain-dead Trump as your POTUS with a wife whose naked HOOHAA was seen by the world. Gross. Crazy.

Most Indian Americans aren’t that brain dead. That said the overlap of Trump and Modi supporters is strong.

+1. Most Indians are already voting for Trump. Ivanka doesn't need to do anything extra.

?? I received wedding clothes from Indian hosts before. I still wore what I wanted to wear. The clothes are a gift, meaning that I get to choose what to do with them.
