Agree. But also - I guess people are entitled to spend what they want. But why didn’t they get everyone to sign NDAs, take away phones etc.? The point seems to be not only spending but also bragging about it. I bet some famous people we know have had crazy weddings, but we don’t get all the details. [/quote]

Yes, that’s what I was really getting at because it makes it especially tone deaf and crass.  I don’t begrudge anyone who can afford a nice party - I get the pleasure - but this is so over the top and public, it’s tone deaf and disgusting. I said the same about the recent influencer’s wedding in France but this has somehow even topped that. Lots of ick.[/quote]
