Iran is denying they had any involvement in it.
We should then blast the holy hell out of Iran's proxies and sit back and wait for Iran to complain or threaten to retaliate. And then get in Iran's face and say "YOU SAID YOU HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. ARE YOU NOW ADMITTING YOU LIED?" |
That depends on whether other nutjob regimes and terrorists can go 20 years without attacking us. |
By “we” you mean Israel? |
Maybe we should let our ally Israel do that? If they are not good for something like this what good are they? |
What fairytale are you reading? |
They didn’t even say “we”. But the “us” refers to the USA, I believe |
Who do you think reads this site? You definitely have the wrong target audience in mind. |
DP. Are you not aware that Trump had Iran under crippling sanctions, killed the head of their state terror organization, and used the Abraham accords to cripple them? Then Biden took over, reversed the Abraham Accords, lifted sanctions, made publicly demeaning statements about our regional allies. He took the houthis off the terror list. We look weak, pathetic, and afraid of Iran. That invites violence and aggression. They very clearly said that Oct 7 was in retaliation for Biden doing all of the above, and then flip-flopping when he realized his mistake. |
PP is correct. "Iran exported nearly 1.4 million barrels of oil per day in October, sustaining its average for 2023. This is up 80% from the 775,000 barrels per day Iran averaged under the Trump Administration’s “maximum pressure” strategy, according to United Against Nuclear Iran." https://www.wsj.com/articles/biden-administration-iran-oil-hamas-israel-gaza-df192c53#
https://www.dailysignal.com/2023/10/18/not-just-6b-heres-how-much-money-biden-admin-freed-iran-hamas-terror-attack-israel/ "Iran has generated approximately $80 billion in revenue from oil sales under the Biden administration," according to Claire Jungman, chief of staff at United Against a Nuclear Iran, a watchdog group that closely tracks Tehran’s illicit oil exports and arsenal of tankers. A large portion of this oil is shipped into China, which counts Tehran as one of its top patrons ." https://www.unitedagainstnucleariran.com/uani_in_news/iran-has-made-80-billion-illicit-oil-sales-since-biden-took-office |
Biden just wants to be friends with Iran. It’s actually very sweet. |
Trump also told OPEC and oil producers to scale back production, which drove up gasoline prices. Recall that "gas will be $7 a gallon" thread. |
What a weird take, given we are bombing the crap out of Iran's folks in Yemen. |
