With what? They're not going to tell you the health status of the girl, nor are they going to talk about punishments.

It is appalling. Transport all the way to Fairfax INOVA means the injuries are incredibly serious. Otherwise she could have gone to Shady Grove hospital which is much closer and has a peds unit.

I hope videos are at least shared with authorities (police) and also social media so MCPS can't cover up what happened and the role of surrounding adults.

Shady Grave doesn't have a real ER.

Around here, we call it Shady Grave.

On NextDoor, a user Holly Flores says she knows the offenders and currently has an active police report on them.

Mcps needs to get violent students OUT of the general population. There is a reason we used to kick these students out instead of shuffle them to a different school.

YES. We need to band together to demand this. Every high school has serious incidents every year. Some middle schools as well. This is not normal and should not be tolerated.

They are a real ER, they are not a trauma center. This girl was sent to a trauma center so they are minimizing the incident big time. Hope she is ok.

Very odd there is no news coverage on this

What's in the link? I don't subscribe to Next Door.

I initially thought Fox 5 pulled the story because it was false. But parents are saying they know the details and it's true.
So I'm very concerned that Fox pulled the story. At who's demand?
This sounds like more mcps cover up.

Are there no parent organizations that keep watch on the violence in our schools?

The parents of the girl should go public and to the media with this story. It’s the only way that MCPS changes, sadly.

Is the Fox 5 story in the wayback machine?

I would think a student being sent to the trauma unit after being attacked at school is a news worthy story.

Story is not true

This is why mainstream actual news has not covered it.
