Gaithersburg Police have a report filed by MCPS morning after the incident the minor was already home by then. Did not stay over night in the hospital.

MCPS spoke with the students the next day all grades. Within 48 hours letter sent to parents. Should that have been done the next day yes. However the police asked MCPS to wait til they had all the facts which is reasonable.

Everyone needs to stop spreading rumors. Again this is a minor. If the parents want you to know something they will tell you. This case is not what it seems. I know this because this is my neighbor.

Don't believe that PP. She is not the girl's neighbor. If she was, she wouldn't be making up lies. There is a police report from 4:52 the day of assault. Here she says it is from next day.

One crazy poster talking about 2021 and saying all this is a propaganda machine. This may be the same poster sock puppeting and talking for both sides so this news stays relevant.

While it may be a propaganda machine against MCPS, we cannot deny that an assault happened.

Schools do need SRO's but propaganda to get what you want is not the way to go about it. The WTOP did not give any additional information than what we already know.
