A reporter had a phone interview with one of the teachers, she had a broken nose and was knocked out. She sounds Hispanic to me. Why is more attention going to the perpetrator than the victim?

I truly can't believe that anyone thinks it's just fine for this man and others with similar mental health issues to freely be walking around and potentially causing harm to innocent victims, including children. At the very least, these individuals should be required to live in a supervised home with someone eho can be sure they take prescribed meds.

This is what happens when everybody turns a blind eye, and doesn’t press charges on previous assaults. People think they’re helping him and being nice and kind and equitable but in the long run you’re hurting them and putting others in danger.

On the instagram post, so many neighbors were saying similar stories or worse (he masterbated in front of my son, etc) but NO ONE PRESSED CHARGES.

This man put a woman in the hospital and masterbated in front of 2 yr olds. This was not his first offense. He was charged with MISDEMEANORS. Let that sink in. Sexual abuse of a child and beating someone so badly they are hospitalized are misdemeanors in DC. It’s not that people don’t report crime, it’s that the officials of this city have decided it doesn’t care.

And then others claim they went to police and were told there is no point bc he will just be released by EOB. I encourage people to read it. There are also references to Next Door posts about him. It’s mind blowing.

2) so I will go ahead and say what people won’t say: he wanted money to buy more drugs. According to twitter/x and insta, he frequented an open air drug market area that is close by and he was often aggressively harassing people for money.

3) some of the kids were under 1, 2-3 teachers for 30 babies and toddlers. In the video there is a construction or sanitation worker who comes running and then some other people from across the street while the man is clearing flailing around with his pants coming down. He’s on the far right.

Some men ran to help and God bless them for doing so. If the situation had gone sideways, they would be the ones in jail right now and not the criminal.

Per instagram posts, he was also sexually harassing women and openly pulling out his you know what to masturbate in front of them. There should be NO freaking hesitation to press charges and arrest someone for that.
