We need involuntary holds and treatment. Period. These poor workers and kids! |
| This is terrible and so scary. Criminals are emboldened. Lock this guy up forever. |
| That is so scary and awful. |
|
My goodness. I hope they catch him.
|
| It’s very scary. I work at a school nearby and am rethinking all of our outdoor activities. |

Forever?

| It’s not fashionable to say because we all want our freedoms and easy access to drugs and it’s not harming anyone else if I’m out of my mind on whatever. But we have a drug crisis in this country. |
Last year in our Dc neighborhood a man kept following my DD’s class walking outside at daycare. The man said some weird things to the teachers and was trying to touch the kids and did touch one of their heads. It was very disturbing and the teachers rushed the kids back to class. |
| This is so horrifying. When my kids were in daycare in DC I always worried about something like this happening. |
Ah yes, a weekend at PIW will do the trick! |
Not a long term solution for sure. But what are the options? |

Assailant was arrested and per Councilmember Zachary Parker he was having a “mental health crisis” and is getting the support services he needs. FML!

Not being released without a psychiatrists say - so? I'm fine with an appeal panel and all that, but people need to be kept and treated until they are better. Can this be legislated at the local level? |
