He'll look like Jeff Bezos or Mark Zuckerberg?

dp.. I don't think the wife or ex's or gf's are complaining. They seem satisfied enough.

Financial issues adds stress to marriages.

I don't know PP. We are on 300k with no financial issues.

A middle class guy married to an accountant can easily pull 300k hhi.

You need to be turned on by the guy sleeping next to you. Some people need hot for that.

300K hhi is not middle class, though.

Would you marry a guy making $75K (median income) in the DC area? Eventually, money woes and stress will make you not want to have sex with him, no matter how hot he is.

You can find a man attractive enough to have sex with. He doesn't have to be "hot". There are very few "hot" men out there.

A middle class good looking man and physically fit will have no shortage of getting women of his choice.

and after 10 years, and 2 kids, the woman will be complaining about how he doesn't make enough, and how they are struggling financially.

As someone who makes 900K per year in software & technology service sales, I will take a good looking husband who makes 100K over an average looking husband who makes 1M. He can use my money to look good and stay in shape, as long as he is loyal to me. It is like asking a guy who makes 1M+ to choose between an average woman who makes 1M or a model that looks like Gisele Bundchen but she only makes 50K. The answer is quite obvious, don't you think?

you say this because you make a lot. Most women (and men) don't make that much.

Many women are making enough these days they no longer need a man for financial protection.

I wouldn't want to marry someone who is more attractive than I am, though. I guess I own my insecurities. I would have no problem marrying someone richer. So, he could be hot, but he couldn't be super model hot. I would also be insecure about feeling like a sugar mamma, so he could make less than me, but not by a large factor. All for not as I'm married to a good match.

I am not the PP you are asking, but I am saying so. Not for all the money in the world. They are not attractive to me.

I like money, but it cannot come at the expense of sex. I cannot sleep with someone I don't find attractive.

A kind one I have common interests with and good sex. Anything else is a bonus.

As someone who has a sexy boyfriend in a job he loves and doesn't make much, how do I get a job making 900k in sales?

Hot

So much variability here. Rich because he worked hard and has drive and passion? Hot because he’s a narcissist? Rich with a nightmare family? Attractive people are statistically more likely to be successful so hot and average is kind of a red flag

All things being equal, I choose hot. I make my own money, but I cannot fake physical chemistry when it is not there.

You can love a rich man just as easy as a poor man!

OK neither Bezos or Zuckerberg are ugly or ogres. They're average.

Average looking rich guy vs hot poor guy? Money really can buy happiness!
Anonymous
Average looy, whether wealthy or middle class.

The hot guy will usually dump most women for someone better.

Hot guy. I'm working on one; he is addictive. I made my money and I'm making enough so he can have some too.
There are more rich men than there are guys who I find hot. Very rare indeed. Rarer than the color of my eyes.
Anonymous
Neither? I prefer a man that is happy, and interested in the world, and smart, and productive, and fun, and flexible, and good to people?

I guess more directly, regarding looks -- I'm attracted to healthy good looking men, but "hot" (whatever that is?) isn't remotely necessary or even desired. Financially healthy/stable is important as well, but "rich" isn't necessary.

Agree on this. Once you are earning a lot, you are surrounded by rich guys, many of them single. It is harder to find a hot guy

And also, so many women outearn men now.
