She looks amazing! Also want to put in a plug for Issa Rae’s outfits on this press tour. President Barbie is fire.

What an adorable (and very Barbie) luggage set.

+1

It’s a genius way to promote when she can’t do red carpets and the like. And bonus points, I believe she still fronts for Chanel and that jacket and those pumps are pure and obvious Chanel.

I look for ways to post my favorite SNL clips and this is my favorite Margot Robbie one:

That is one of the worst things I've ever seen

Not exactly the press tour, but love her look at Wimbledon!

Looks really pretty but the outfit seems out of place at Wimbeldon

OMG! I loooooooved this doll. This outift and the Crystal Barbie dress were my favorite. It's so fun to see the reversible suit in real life.

Here are a few other pics. And thanks to pp for pointing out Ryan Gosling's outfits! I love that he's playing along too!

It is "unexpected" because it doesn't follow your agenda--but whatever you really are just speaking your thoughts out loud and talking to yourself, no real person cares about outfits an actress wears to promote a movie to make money for a studio

Oh sh$t am I not a real person? How am I going to break this to my kids…
Thanks for letting me know this important info PP! You are a Good Samaritan.

The PP is upset that all her paranoid “guerilla marketing” posts got deleted

That's fine that the post are deleted none of us (except Jeff) own this site what can we do, continue talking to yourself in the mirror, because that is what in effect you are doing here. But this all makes sense in our selfie/twitter culture that lacks an understand of communcation science (yes that is a thing); just because you are putting words and images out there doesn't mean that people are influenced by it--there is a method to establish credibility and influence, and insulting people's intelligence isn't it. There is backlash all over regarding the Barbie promotion, it has become a joke. I am just trying to be helpful and point this out to you but oh well.

This is a Beauty and Fashion forum. I don't think there is an effort to establish credibility or influence anyone here. Some people find joy in these images and want to share that joy with others.

I got this doll as a reward for a medical event. I loved this doll.

That made me tear up. I got the peaches and cream Barbie after something myself. I just googled to see her again.

I was just trying to explain to a guy at work that some women have significant memories associated with these dolls and seeing some of the outfits Margot's been wearing is really meaningful.

I do not like the Barbie look. I much prefer classic minimalism. I think Barbie looks ridiculous on a grown woman. It’s something a 5-year old would wear at a princess party.

My mom never dressed us in pink as kids.

I would like to tell you that this post made a very old part of my memory light up, and I went out and found the dress that I loved the most as a little girl. I called it my “engagement dress” because I asked my mom what Barbie would wear this to, and she said an engagement party. My mom has Alzheimer’s now, and thinking about this is making me cry. People who don’t get it, just don’t get it.

Thank you, previous poster.

I've been waiting for Margot to wear the Peaches & Cream Barbie dress, or even better, Crystal Barbie:

Yes…it’s a doll for children. And this is a thread about the fashion on the promotional tour for a movie about a doll for children. Lighten up.

Thanks for the nonsensical word salad. There’s nothing “helpful” about your paranoid posts accusing everyone who comments here of being a PR shill.

During covid, my DH and I doubled down on ridiculous but fun lounge clothes for hanging around the house - we have all these insane floral matching sets, house dresses, and other fun things that when we put on, it means work is done for the day. We were explaining this to my BIL recently, and he just could not wrap his head around why we'd do this. He wasn't judgey; just didn't understand why clothes could be fun.

So I am totally digging her take on this. And to the PP above, no I don't think I'll ever get sick of barbie, at least not the fashion.

LOVE! Can you start a thread with links?

My kids and I got really into matching pajamas, but I can so get on board with house dresses.
