| Love love love. Apparently Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig really wanted to work together, and it’s like there’s some kind of alchemy they have going on. |

From the interviews I’ve seen of her, she seems like a lovely and fun person along with being an absolutely stunning specimen of a human.
The Barbie marketing campaign has been incredibly effective and fun. I cannot wait to see this movie! |
| The great thing about these outfits is that I remember most on the dolls and they’re instantly recognizable as Barbie outfits. And she’s doing them from different eras. I think it’s great that she has the looks to pull it off. |
| And let’s not forget Ken!! (Although that’s part of the joke.) Ryan Gosling has also been killing it. |
Just like none of you could avoid this thread? I think I see why you’re over it; you can’t control yourselves. |
| This thread needs more pictures. The black and white striped dress was awesome! |

This is my favorite. This was the last Barbie I got (although I had the brunette version) when I was arguably a little too old for Barbies but I really, really wanted one more.
|
| She looks like she's having so much fun!! |
| The outfits are cute and very spot-on, but all I can see is skinny white woman promoting impossible beauty standards. |
I love that she crimped her hair!! Was the brunette doll Skipper? |
Maybe read some interviews with Margot Robbie and especially Greta Gerwig to understand the bigger picture, no pun intended. I hea r you, but dive into the complexity of it and you might see it’s kind of amazing what they’ve done here. |

Op here...this thread took an unexpected turn. No guerilla marketing here....I just appreciate a combo of fun, fashion and nostalgia.
Here are a few other pics. And thanks to pp for pointing out Ryan Gosling's outfits! I love that he's playing along too!
