I think I have covid for the 3rd time and I feel like death

OP, you need to go to the doctor. Today.

Op here. Ok so now I’ve got a ton of tiny, flesh colored bumps all over my hands that are EXTREMELY itchy.

What on earth could this be?

Op here. I have small children and I work full time. One of my kids has profound special needs and has a ton of doctor and therapy appointments.

I avail myself of daycare, therapies, etc for my children so I can work.

Work also mandated return to office, 3 days a week.

We don’t really take any precautions besides washing hands frequently. It just feels like a lost cause.

You need to mask in an N95. It's not a lost cause.

I think you should see a doctor. DCUM are not medical professionals.

Op here. I mean, I can do that, but I’m not going to wear one around my children and they are the vectors.

The stress of keeping your child safe, all the appointments, all the efforts to just reach milestones most of you take for granted and endless other things can really do you in.

She had a child with special needs and she’s not bothering to mask anywhere. Sorry, but I’m not going to feel empathetic for people who aren’t masking and are getting COVID over and over.

Welcome to hand, foot, and mouth disease for adults.

Op here. The first two times I got covid, we were masking.

This time, my covid test was negative and I have a rash so I don’t think it’s covid.

I can mask and sure it might help a small amount but my child is in multiple unmasked therapies per week, plus daycare. My other child goes to ANOTHER daycare. Daycares aren’t masking anymore. I can wear a mask at work (though my employer would not like it), but nothing will change the primary exposure routes (therapies and daycare).

Op here. I don’t think it’s HFM because the bumps are flesh colored. When my kids had HFM, the bumps were red.

One of my kids has had a cough and vomiting for the last week but no rash or fever.

When I had adult HFM, I had flesh colored bumps. It SUCKED. I'm sorry. But it's a virus and it will go away. You need to rest. Find a way, hire someone, whatever.

OP, there is a weird virus going around with a high fever, aches, and respiratory symptoms. Our summer swim team has been riddled with it. No Covid or Flu, just a gross summer virus. Feel better.

My GP said this is going around: https://www.cdc.gov/ncird/human-metapneumovirus.html

I posted earlier that I am sick with a virus that turned into pneumonia and is not covid. This sounds like what I have! I've had colds, flu, viruses and covid before but have not experienced the shortness of breath, weakness and sleepiness that this illness includes. Also, lack of appetite.

Monkeypox.

Like I said earlier, doesn't sound like Covid. Go to Urgent Care, stop asking frantic questions on here, we've done all we can do. I mean this seriously, not trying to be snarky.
