| Cornell! Duke weather might be better but Cornell has the better program and the better name for long term! |
Yeah, those definitely don’t exist at Duke
|
Duke definitely has the better name. Half of the younger generation joke Cornell isn’t a real ivy |
| Duke. |
Duke isn’t an Ivy at all, so I guess they are even there. It’s a dumb basis on which to make a choice. |
| Cornell is way sexier is this a serious question |
The problem is Cornell’s best asset is being an ivy, which it’s considered the worst of. Duke is fortunate enough to have an extremely strong brand on its own. |
Not really. Duke is well known as an Ivy wannabe |
0 chance Duke would be remotely interested in joining the Ivy League. If you want to call it anything, it is the wannabe Stanford (top academics and great P5 sports). |
| Cornell undergraduate dorms have no air condition |
| Duke |
| Go with personal fit. They're very different schools where CS majors will do just fine. |
Cornell has built several dorms recently which have A/C. Others have ceiling fans. Its upstate NY so it is only an issue in the beginning of the school year. |
| My DD got into both last year (different situation as it was Dyson vs Econ) and picked Duke after visiting both. They’re very different schools so it should be fairly easy to find your preference once you step foot on each campus and talk to the students! |

Are you sure dorms with A/C for undergraduate? |
