Duke is a far better school than Cornell, much more respected.

Basketball might be fun too.
Duke graduates seem more annoying than Cornell graduates by a large margin so maybe in the end I would pick Cornell.

Haha. This has been my experience too.

Um, no.

DD had a great experience with Duke CS. She had very little CS background coming in and wasn’t really considering it as a major until a friend had suggested she try the intro class. The department was so welcoming she ended up majoring and is now getting her PhD.

Typical Duke grad response - arrogant and annoying and often wrong. My vote is Cornell

Tough choice but everyone hates Duke (except for people who went to Duke).
Cornell is the clear winner here. I didn’t go to either school but everyone knows that Cornell is tops in STEM/Engineering/CS - best Ivy for these fields

Step child of Ivy vs Duke. Choice is clear.

This in a nice way. You can be a nice kid but you can also be a douchebag if needed. Duke needs that.

Cornell kids seem miserable and Duke kids seem happy.
