What law is being broken here? |
You're disgusting to equate the two. I see what you're trying to do and won't engage. People like you make me sick. |
In Europe they’re following the science on this. Over here it’s full speed castration ahead for children. |
You said everyone should only worry about their own kids and that we can’t have opinions about other people’s kids. If that’s your stance then I hope you won’t bother calling the police if you see your neighbor beating his kids. |

"In 2015, four prominent American gender clinics were awarded $7 million to examine the effects of blockers and hormone treatment on transgender youth. In explaining their study, the researchers pointed out that the United States had produced no data on the impact or safety of blockers, particularly among transgender patients under 12, leaving a “gap in evidence for this practice.” Seven years in, they have yet to report key outcomes of their work, but say the findings are coming soon." |

+1 hear hear Might not be PC to say it, but I am friends with 2 detransitioners. They are back to being cis women and the trauma they feel is beyond our imagination. They feel utterly betrayed and disillusioned. I have had to talk one of them out of some very dark moments. Not everyone who experiences discomfort with their body needs to transition. There is a LOT else going on, and IMO this whole gender ideology thing has turned into a dangerous cult. |
That's, as PP noted, illegal. Beating kids is an illegal activity. Kind of black and white, except for the religious whackos who claim spare the rod, spoil the child. So I think most of us in this country can agree that beating children is a bad thing. Not much grey area there. No grey areas around schooling. Required to go. Education good. Truancy bad. Not much to consider there. Mental health issues are grey. I think most of us would agree, and yet you keep acting like it's a black and white issue and approaching it with such simple, linear thinking. It used to be a black and white issue to do electro shock therapy. Not anymore because we've learned how to do better. It used to be that certain medications were given for certain mental health disorders like schizophrenia. Not anymore because we've learned how to do better. It used to be that we wouldn't attempt to help kids who identify as transgender. Not anymore because we've learned how to do better. But if you want your kid to stay the course and not offer them help, that's your right as their parent. Good luck to you. |

It's going to be as popular as the lobotomy.
There has to be a better way to help teens in crisis. |
You’d be more believable if you linked to news stories about this. |
If I understand the GOP’s “better way” it’s take away all their books that aren’t McGuffey’s Reader, get rid of any and all classes for higher thinking and get the girls pregnant by old men statutorily raping them, then force them to get married. |
I hear this. I really do. But people wanting to remove this FOR EVERYONE is wrong. I could be on board with stricter parameters, but to disallow all reaffirming care is just wrong and damaging. |
Then we shouldn't force teenagers to have babies. After all, their brains have not developed enough to make a rational decision. How can you ban kids from transitioning but then force them to bear children? |
"Kids" being the operative word here. This applies only to those under the age of 18. |
Way to miss the point. We're not talking about legal adults, who are over the age of 18. This concerns *minors*. DP |
+1 So, so well put. And I don’t want the “moderates” deluding themselves again. The GOP won’t stop with kids; they’ll outlaw all trans care. |
