I don't think this is a bad thing.
We are talking about procedures that have life-long consequences when these people are minors and do not have the critical thinking or judgment to know the full effects of their decisions.

Politicians need to stay out of the exam rooms. They need to stop turning certain issues into culture wars. They can't win on real ideas so they always have to blow up certain issues for culture wars.

Leave these kids alone.These kids have enough mental health issues right now as is, picking on them this way will not help them get better.

No one is cutting off genitals of children. Educate yourself. They're making gender affirming care illegal, which includes a lot of treatments, few of which are surgical.
