WTF am I reading here? Are these people still hiding in the basements? JFC! |
| My kid is in 4th grade at an MCPS ES. I asked her how many kids were out sick today. She said none. |
There sure are. Especially in Montgomery County. My neighbor has a 4th grader and she refuses to send her back to school. The mom also still works from home and won’t do indoor activities. The poor girl has been doing Virtual Academy for years now and isn’t allowed to do anything indoors with other kids/peers. |
Mine is in middle school and she reported 3-5 in each class. I teach kindergarten and this is the end of the second week with more than half my class out. Funny how anecdotes work, huh? |
You sound super compassionate and empathetic. I guess we can see how you feel if you or your loved ones’ immune system is compromised one day. |
Neighbor sounds like a great parent and person. Too bad you have no concern for others. |
Again, show us the proof mask mandates are anti science. It’s more than just deaths. |
Five million kids lost parents or caregivers to Covid. https://www.sciencenews.org/article/covid-children-parent-caregiver-loss-death-5-million |
It’s sad what parents like you teach and model to their kids. No wonder they have mental health issues. |
| The medical community warned this would happen because we had 2 years of little to no virus exposure. And slap on a 2022 Covid infection. Our immune systems are weak. |
Strep can cause PANDAS and rheumatic fever heart disease EBV can cause subsequent lymphoma. Chicken pox can cause subsequent shingles, or Ramsay Hunt (Justin Bieber) Kids die from flu and RSV. Covid is not the only virus with long-term health consequences or mortality in children. But kids didn't mask for strep, EBV, chicken pox, flu, or RSV. |

The ones with the mental health issues are sadly still masking due to anxiety caused by anxious parents. |
Sounds like you don’t understand what anxiety and real mental illness is. Masking is the responsible thing to do. Be thankful you don’t have health issues which is why you don’t get it. |
More reasons to advocate for masking. Good job. |
