for 20 Years.

And some of the most important presidential debates were held there. The school is highly influential for its size.

Avoid like the plague, seriously, unless your kid is… for lack of a better word, extremely white washed.

It has been considered a top school in the country for years, whether you feel it is deserved or not. Even when it was a USNWR regional university, it was profiled in a book with a title about "Top 50 Colleges in the US".

It might be a respectable school for North Carolina, but I would hardly call it a top school… that doesn’t mean I have a vendetta against it. Just being realistic and pragmatic.

Again, this is your opinion. It is classified as a national university and has been since the mid-90s. It has been and still is listed among the top schools in the country for decades by multiple publications.

I like this admissions plan of early rolling. Definitely wish more schools would offer this.

Being classified as a national university has absolutely no bearing on whether or not a school is considered “top.” The fact of the matter is, Wake Forest is not part of any conversations when it comes to discussing top colleges. It’s inclusion in one ranking list does not suddenly mean it’s a top school.

Hahah I can tell this is just eating you up inside. Trust me, no one is crying about not getting into Wake Forest, that’s for sure.

WF is like a 2nd tier safety for high stat kids.
Not many really want to end up there.

Despite of the relatively high ranking.
Ranking is just a one factor.

Wow, I just checked its rankings and its UNSWR ranking is a complete and utter fluke. Something fishy there. Every other ranking lists it at the 60s or 70s, which is much more of an accurate reflection of its standing.
