Wake Forest has won a total of 9 National Championships with 5 coming since 2002. Stanford leads the way with 157. Most Ivy league schools have more and Duke has 17 They have a really long way to go.

How many undergrad at Wake again?

Total undergraduate enrollment: 5,472 (from the website)

It was about 3600 while I was there in the 90s - they have built up. I just saw a former roommate who said that they have built over much of the previous parking areas and never really built more to accommodate the larger student body (her daughter is a senior this year)

To be fair, the Ivy League was much more competitive in sports 50 or more years ago than today.

Who is tokenizing? A poster said no one notable was at Wake. She is pretty darn notable

Maya Angelou is not an alum.

Thread has taken on a life of its own, however I also like the rolling ED concept...

Its not two weeks by any stretch. DC waited almost 6 weeks on this last year.

No one “asked” for anything, just noted that Wake Forest doesn’t have any notable alums.

The fact that you can only name sports figures says a lot.

It's ok that Wake Forest is a regionally known school. Not every school needs to be elite! It's still a great school for people in or near North Carolina. Be proud of that.
