Arnold Palmer never graduated. |
I do, my brother took her class along with 99 other football players. Don't be fooled by schools and their well known professors. She passed every single one of them who rarely went to class. |
That's BS. She was an upper division woman's studies professor, and her classes were interesting and challenging. If she had one entry level class that some athletics males took because she made enlightenment more important that grading, big freaking deal. And she taught at Wake before she gained national notoriety -- the university recognized her brilliance before the rest of the nation. And BS about Wake athletics not going to class. |
| Never thought I’d see the day Maya Angelou would get tokenized by Wake Forest boosters, of all people. |
| It's a nice early decision plan - to handle as rolling at first - and does not strike me as that much earlier than others, just enough to be very appealing for some |
| Can’t think of a school besides Stanford and Duke that has the combination of strong academics and top-ranked sports teams |
ND and USC which are at a level up come to my mind |
Private equity financier Ogden Phipps went there. Comes from maybe the wealthiest family in America |
Is that a joke? |
?? What part?? |
Never heard of him |
The part that ND and USC are "at a level up" from Stanford and Duke? Stanford are Duke are peers to schools like Harvard, Princeton, and MIT. ND and USC not so much. |
sorry I meant level up from WF |
| Wake’s AD won the National athletics director of the year in 2022 |
