I do, my brother took her class along with 99 other football players. Don't be fooled by schools and their well known professors. She passed every single one of them who rarely went to class.

That's BS. She was an upper division woman's studies professor, and her classes were interesting and challenging. If she had one entry level class that some athletics males took because she made enlightenment more important that grading, big freaking deal. And she taught at Wake before she gained national notoriety -- the university recognized her brilliance before the rest of the nation. And BS about Wake athletics not going to class.

Never thought I’d see the day Maya Angelou would get tokenized by Wake Forest boosters, of all people.

It's a nice early decision plan - to handle as rolling at first - and does not strike me as that much earlier than others, just enough to be very appealing for some

Can’t think of a school besides Stanford and Duke that has the combination of strong academics and top-ranked sports teams

The campus is gorgeous, sports events are fun and the education is very good.

Not sure why it doesn’t get the same respect as so many other schools at the same level.

Same level? What schools? Wake Forest is painfully mediocre. I don’t know a single notable alum, notable achievement from the school, no high-ranking programs. Not diverse at all. It’s just… mediocre and bland. But it happens to rank highly in the one ranking that people care about, so it gets some eyeballs. That’s about it.

Private equity financier Ogden Phipps went there. Comes from maybe the wealthiest family in America

The part that ND and USC are "at a level up" from Stanford and Duke? Stanford are Duke are peers to schools like Harvard, Princeton, and MIT. ND and USC not so much.
