William and Harry (when not in uniform) have also been wearing blue suits this entire time, while the women have worn black. It’s clearly some sort of protocol.

Then why black pants and blue jacket for George?
Charlotte is just the cutest. Proud parents for sure.

I don’t know, but regardless of your thoughts on Kate, I am 100% sure she dressed him appropriately and as was expected for his age.

Windsor Castle is where the other former direct royals are buried.

You can't deny the historical proportion of this funeral. They have not had such a big funeral since the 1700s.

Which I find odd since they buried another monarch (her father) just 70-some years ago. And his father before him and so on.

You seem a little triggered. Maybe catch a nap?

I didn’t make it there on my last trip to the UK - I am putting it on the must see list for next time.

I’m not triggered. You think they accidentally mismatched his pants? Come on.

His pants are navy too. Probably wanted to emulate his father who was wearing the Navy uniform.

So you don’t know the answer to the question. That’s fine. No need for a visceral knee jerk response. Someone else might know.

Exactly. Was her father’s funeral not a big deal?

Windsor Castle is where they have a service that is a bit more private with people they personally know, especially the ones who knew the Queen.

All the American coverage is annoying. Why are they bothering? Why doesn't American news focus on Hurricane Fiona and Puerto Rico or really anything that has actual consequences for the U.S.?

This isn't an "I hate the monarchy" thing. I mean, I do think it's stupid, but I also like the odd bit of pageantry, especially if hats and flowers are involved. But I can't believe how much coverage is devoted to it.

They did not reign for 70 years. That's the difference.
