Queen Elizabeth Funeral

I agree. BBC narrator is respectful. Statements, not really opinions.

I don’t mind the narration since were in the procession. I was telling my kids how beautiful this is because it is a celebration of her life. I am a history buff and it is so amazing to see a historical event pull out live.

Why is Prince George wearing navy blue instead of black like everyone else (including Charlotte)?

I believe Williams’s uniform today is blue.

I’m watching bbc so at least the talking has the appropriate accent.

It truly is the end of an era.

“Armani doesn’t make navy suits.”

I thought the same thing! It sounds so fake.

It looked to me like he had black pants and a navy blazer. It was the first glance and thought I had about the funeral: a future king and you don’t spring for the black suit?

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are so well behaved. They are living history, and their presence is important given their place in the line of succession.

I think I missed something: why did they walk a long way with the coffin and then put it in a hearse to drive it somewhere?

Ceremony and tradition, honor and respect.

I thought they said it was too long of a walk to Windsor so part would be via vehicle.

They are driving her back to Windsor Castle for her burial. That’s outside the city, in the suburbs.

I’ve had BBC on all week. They do world news - even weather and US news - better than anything on US. I’m keeping it on BBC from now on for news.

I’m at work but glad I recorded PBS because they are using the BBC feed.
