What do you want to see in S5 of The Handmaid’s Tale?

What is going to happen to Aunt Lydia? Is there ANY room for a redemptive act?

One thing I want to see is Nick's story. We already mostly got his backstory, but it's been clear from Season 1 that he is an Eye and now he's a commander. He's remarried. So who's his wife? Why has he helped June? Just because he loves her?

I feel like we are owed some pretty in-depth Nick episodes.

Chicago fighters.

Since Serena is capable of getting pregnant, I think they need to ship her back to Gilead and turn her into a Handmaiden.

Hard pass. I hate that @sshole.^^

I want June and Nick sex, frankly.
Gross. I can’t get into their relationship. How this became a fan favorite is beyond me. June doesn’t need a love interest. Let’s just see Gilead burn already.

I think a love interest is actually kind of important. Her life is all about survival and fighting. Love and sexual pleasure are luxuries. It's the little piece that can connect her to her old self, an indulgence that makes her feel human.

New trailer looks great!

I saw Bradley Whitford star in a Shakespeare production in DC in 1988/89? He was so young and so talented.

I watched first thing this morning. Ugh, so many emotions. Glad this is the final season. I hope things move quickly now. I want to see a full blown Gilead invasion.

Ok, now SPOILERS for those who have watched!!!!

$88!! I laughed so damn hard. “I have to pay a fine. Online.” Ha! That was absolutely brilliant. I had to pause to give that scene the full appreciation it deserves.

Putnam and the chocolate. Jesus, that made me cringe. I hope we get to see his death on screen.

Esther…oh man. Saw it coming, and I have very mixed feelings about Janine. Her character basically went full circle back to where she started and that was disappointing. I wanted to see her do something to rebel on her own, not because another handmaiden dragged her into it. I get that she’s a survivor, but there are many ways to survive. Her character found that one way and that was it. I wish they would’ve done more with her. She’s a phenomenal actress.

Finally Luke has the motivation he needed to do something about Hannah other than wait patiently in Canada. Now on to Gilead to kick some ass!

I only watched the first episode - late last night - and...I hated it. Was bummed that I stayed up late for so much nothing. It was literally June, Serena, and Tuello moving from location to location. Too many close ups of June's face. I don't understand or buy the motivation for the bunch of women, including Emily!, to want to go back to Gilead. They aren't special forces, come on.

I am sure I will keep watching, but I think we may formally be in shark-jumping territory.

Oh. Meant to add that the only interesting tidbit was Nick's wife and the interactions there that suggest something more is going on than the normal Gilead marriage.
