I had no idea who this guy was until I fell asleep one night listening to a YouTube video on my iPad, and YouTube rolled over to one of Peterson’s genteel rants. I woke up and thought ‘Who the hell is this sanctimonious asshole?’. Well, now I know.

There are no overweight male models, but there are overweight female models. Men are held to a higher standard in this vein. Men are also sent off to war to die and are still expected to be the family bread winner and work their ass off and die of a heart attack 5 to 10 years earlier then their female spouse. Many women will sleep with a man if he’s rich. No man is going to sleep with a woman because she’s rich. Male models are all pretty feminine. They’re largely aimed at gay men, which is a whole different conversation. But please, Give me a break about men being held to a higher standard! Men created the standard. Women are increasingly becoming the dominate breadwinner. Women not only work but also are primary caregivers for kids and elderly parents. Meanwhile Congress can’t seem to pass meaningful legislation to serve half the US population they claim to represent.

There are plus size male models. Simple Google search coul have told you that

Active duty military makes up less than half a million people out the 320 us citizens and that includes men and women. We haven't had a draft in decades so in theory people choose to serve in the military

I assure you he has enormous popularity in Canada outside of the incel community. He is seen as one of the few who can speak truth to power, which is a terribly sad statement to make, but it’s the truth.

I don’t get the hate for Petersen and Joe Rogan. Most of their stuff is innocuous and fine. They have some bad wild takes from time to time; but they are nothing like vile misogynists like Andrew Tate.
