He has become exponentially more popular since this thread was originally posted, interestingly. Canada is looking at putting a draconian anti-free speech law into place that might as well be called the “Stop Peterson from Speaking” law as it seems almost personally targeted at him. (The proposed bill is C-63 if you want to read about it.)

People in Canada view him as speaking truth to power, including former Trudeau supporters. I don’t think you realize how deeply and profoundly unpopular the extremist progressive positions have become in Canada (I am Canadian).

I assure you he has enormous popularity in Canada outside of the incel community. He is seen as one of the few who can speak truth to power, which is a terribly sad statement to make, but it’s the truth. [/quote]
