He has become exponentially more popular since this thread was originally posted, interestingly. Canada is looking at putting a draconian anti-free speech law into place that might as well be called the “Stop Peterson from Speaking” law as it seems almost personally targeted at him. (The proposed bill is C-63 if you want to read about it.)

People in Canada view him as speaking truth to power, including former Trudeau supporters. I don’t think you realize how deeply and profoundly unpopular the extremist progressive positions have become in Canada (I am Canadian).

So yes the tweet you linked is dumb. But Peterson himself is rising meteorically and I suspect he’s just posting that to get a rise out of people. [/quote]
