Girlfriend hygiene budget?

Smoking is definitely a deal breaker.

Does she really have OCD, or did she diagnose herself on TikTok?

OP is FO SHO a troll because there is a totally reasonable version of this post where someone complains about someone buying moisterizer and serums that add up but instead OP is saying that his girlfriend is spending too much because she's buying shampoo, q-tips and tampons every two weeks.

Even if she was OCD and overusing she isn't overusing TAMPONS every two weeks. No one is shoving a dry tampon up there and pulling it out just for the heck of it. And I don't even know how you could go through a pack of q-tips that soon unless you were making elaborate q-tip art. Her body would look like a seal if she was slathering on that much lotion every day, this just is not a list or timeline that makes any practical sense.

This is the post of someone who wants to complain about how much women spend on 'hygiene' but who has no actual insight into what they buy or how often they buy it.

Really she's buying MOUSSE every two weeks? This isn't 1989 dude.

Tampons aren’t essential?! Wtf is she supposed to use instead? Rags?

This whole thread is bizarre. These sound like normal items but weird to be buying them so often.

I've heard burgundy washcloths are a good alternative.

Op here,

So my girlfriend is basically poor as a mouse. I pay for everything except her smokes and personal bills. I was just curious if it’s normal for a woman to spend so much money. She’s said her skin is sensitive and she doesn’t always finish all the products and toss it or donate to her family. I am definitely checking the door cameras when I get home. Because now, I am suspicious as shit!

Has OP explained why his girlfriend has multiple periods every month yet?

What exactly are you suspicious about? Inappropriate use of lotion?

You’ll both be stupid, poor mice trolls soon. Keep it up Op. keep worrying about your Bs CVS purchases for your loser leech fake girlfriend.

What is truly outrageous here is that your girlfriend can AFFORD to buy cigarettes 🚬, liquor + marijuana yet cannot afford to purchase her own personal care and hygiene products.

She is definitely using you & for that and that alone you should break up w/her.
I definitely agree w/the posters who stated that by purchasing all her personal care items, you are in effect enabling her unhealthy habits.

This reminds me of when NASA engineers asked Sally Ride if 100 tampons would be sufficient for her week in space.

My girlfriend texted me a list of things to buy before coming home: Feminine wash, spray, tampons, baby wipe, qtip, body wash, lotion, detergent, shampoo, and hair mousse. $86 and change. I just checked my bank statement and I noticed that Twice a month, I get the list from my girlfriend for the same products. Is this normal for a woman to spend on personal hygiene? Please educate me before I break up with her. Plus she smoked cigarettes, weed, and drink. She pays for her bad habits

Feminine wash and spray is not healthy. I can't imagine having to replace lotion, mousse, and shampoo/conditioner every two weeks! A box of 500 Qtips will last me a year at least....

For reference, my shampoo is $36 a bottle, as is my conditioner. But I only wash my hair 1-2x a week so it lasts a long time.

$86 for all that is reasonable, but the frequency is suspect and why are you paying for it?

BTW, the store brand of laundry detergent at Wegman's was $1.99 last time I bought it.

OP, the list is not the red flag to look at....

This woman is stocking up and it going to break up with you later.

Anonymous wrote:Those are all pretty reasonable items and I’m a “low maintenance” woman. However, I typically buy my own stuff although half of the stuff on that list seem communal (detergent, qtips, wipes, etc.). Are you just a troll?

OP here,

Definitely not a troll. I am just curious plus I want to help her budget her money better.

Obviously she doesn't want to spend her money. I wouldn't date someone that smokes or weed for that matter. I'd get rid of her and raise the bar.
