According to you? Lol

Yes, according to me. That is what an opinion is. JFC.

It is an opinion. It’s a racist opinion though

You can simply say that you hate Black and Hispanics. You don’t have to project.

No. I don’t hate any race. I hate racists like you.

My White and Asian colleagues are fighting to get more Blacks and Hispanic in the top levels of STEM. What are you doing about it?

I’m defending the US constitution from you racist liberals, which is more important than any other causes.
Also for years, I and our whole family and friends have been helping young black and Hispanic students improve their STEM foundation in order to make them more competitive when they become older, not just artificially throwing in a merit based program just to achieve the BS equality.

"BS equality"

And I'm the racist. LOL.

+1. All in the name of "equity". My kids were never going to be TJ quality kids but I was happy to have my tax dollars pay for one of the best science and tech charters in the U.S. but not after our governor started messing with it. I am thrilled iwht the decision.

This post demonstrates racist liberals are also stupid. They have no logical think capability whatsoever.

I'm Asian, ya tool! What's wrong with a lottery system?

Because it’s against the mission of a governor’s school. Btw I don’t care whether you’re Asian.

What's against the mission of a governor's school? Choosing a small subset from a larger pool of qualified students (mission is to provide opportunities beyond what is normally available, to advanced learners; the metric for 'advanced learners' is not defined)? That's what they have historically done. Why can't the method be pure lottery? That's certainly race blind.

While I'm sure you don't care whether I'm Asian, calling one "racist liberal" is what exactly?

Asian liberals are racist too. It’s a common knowledge.

Yes you are a racist. Equality to you simply means handing free stuff to certain races at the expense of another race.

Which is the more fair system (a simplification):

System A: Students take a test to get into a school. The top 550 students get in. There is no consideration for geographic diversity. There is no consideration for SES diversity. Test prepping is rampant, and reserved for those that can afford it.

System B: Students take a test. Prior to the test, the school makes a decision on what scores are likely to result in "successful" students. Everyone who scores in that range is put into a pool. 750 students make the cut. The student population is then selected with various factors in mind, including geographic and SES diversity. Students that are ranked from 450-550 are left out.

It does serve all of Virginia. You just have to be qualified to enter and pass a race neutral entrance exam.

Entrance exams are race-blind. They are not race-neutral.

You are an awful human being. Just the worst of the worst.

The Admissions Office was likely to release decisions within the next month before this ruling. Assuming the injunction stays the process for class of 2026, one wonders how the Admissions Office will proceed.

I guess You’re looking at the mirror while you were talking. That’s exactly who you are, a cancer to the whole humanity.

Maybe putting it another way. Are students 450-550 "owed" admission? Is it something that is being stolen from them and simply given to someone else?

What are the implications for 2022 applicants, I wonder? The admissions "non-test" was a few weeks ago and decisions were supposed to be made very soon.

I am most interested in the answer to this question. What is going to happen to the kids who applied under the new system this year?

I am not a lawyer, but I wonder if FCPS can temporarily appeal the injunction to the 4th Circuit just to get the process over the finish line and keep the kids out of limbo.

There’s no way for them to get any MORE information from the applicants at this point…

They have to scrap it and do the admissions process all over again for the class of 2026. The woke white racists lost this round. Maybe they will do it right and look at the Black & Hispanic kids in AAP instead of assuming that they all live in the hood.
