Republicans/“conservatives” who do you support: our American President or Putin?

Trump tried to botch the Afghanistan withdrawal. He was stopped by generals. During his post-election meltdown, he issued an order to get all US forces out by 1/15/21. He didn’t go through the proper channels, so it was stopped. Pulling them out in a matter of weeks would have been a disaster.

We have no reason to go into Ukraine. We do have troops in neighboring NATO nations. I honestly hope Putin doesn’t try to attack any NATO nations. A world war would ensue, and the human toll would be devastating. That’s not even considering the potential devastation of war between the counties with the largest nuclear arsenals.

If we do get into war with Russia, I would consider moving myself and my family to an island in the Caribbean. I’m not sitting around the DC area, waiting to see if they’re going to nuke us.

If it comes to that, being in the Carribean isn't going to help.

Edge-lording has consequences. This is no longer a joke.

This is such a dumb thread, OP.
We can hold two thoughts at one time. We can believe that Putin is evil and doing horrific things that he should be severely punished for (like an eternity in hell).
We can also believe that Biden has shown himself to be weak and ineffective when it comes to Russian aggression.

I pray daily that our leaders will make decisions that are best for the world. I don't think the US has done what it needs to do to punish Russia and save lives.

Get this straight.... because we criticize our current president does not make us loyal to another country.

It does when you keep repeating baseless accusations. What should Biden do, specifically? Send US troops?

This has been very illuminating. I didn’t see any Republican response that said they supported Biden over Putin. Simple question simple answer. That tells me how effective the GOP propaganda machine has been. Rather than do good for the people they have demonized and invoked fear for Democrats. Wow. Just wow.

‘Let’s Not Be Sheep’: Tulsi Gabbard Blames Military Industrial Complex For Stoking War In Ukraine.
This woman said that allowing Ukraine to apply for NATO membership irritated Putin. If NATO said they would not consider Ukraine’s application, there would be no war.

1. He should have implemented sanctions long before he did as a deterrent. Russia was building up the troops since last March. It is ridiculous that for weeks, they were threatening sanctions, calling them deterrents, and then Biden saying yesterday that "No one expected the sanctions to prevent anything from happening." WTH?
2. Ban Russia from SWIFT. It is up to Biden to convince NATO that this is one of the few sanctions that would hit Putin hard.
But, he won't. Because that would impact Europe AND the US since we import oil from Russia.
3. Ramp up production of oil in the US. Again, he won't do this.... John Kerry might be mad.

And, they are not "baseless accusations." It is my opinion based on what I have seen and what Biden has and, more importantly, has not done.
I will also state that a majority of Americans don't believe Biden is handling this crisis well. Does that make a majority of Americans loyal to Russia?

You don't read too well.
Are you OP? Are you the one who started this really stupid thread?

And, WTH does the bolded mean?

Except when you are explicitly applauding Putin and his strategy in Ukraine which is EXACTLY what Trump and existing members of the GOP and their Fox propaganda arm are doing. Cruz, Hawley, Green, Vance - just to name a few in addition to Trump - all openly supporting Putin. You don’t get to play it both ways. The GOP is behaving like the traitors they are.

Ok troll. No it doesn’t. Your initial question is baseless. But since you stomped your feet and held your breath like a child, we’ll placate you since that’s what we here in the US do of late, placate entitled little brats.

1) Starting today Russia should be cut off financially and economically. Period. It’s time to find out who in NATO (including a Germany) really puts their money where their mouth is.
2) NATO forces should be deployed immediately to Ukraine if their leader agrees to join NATO. If not, then not.
3) Assuming #2 happens, an offensive on Russian military facilities in western Russia should begin. Putin’s force are now stretched so his backside is open.
4) Massive cyber attacks against Russian systems should begin. Ransomware their entire national system, with the price being Putin’s head.
5) Putin should be targeted for assassination.

Post war we should immediately send in nato forces to dismantle all nuclear weapons from Russia. If you invade other countries you lose your right to have these weapons. Until they install an acceptable form of western government they do not get to have them again. This is called hard ball and it is the only way with bullies. We’ve been too soft for too long. This will also set and example for China and other dictators and despots around the globe. Too much power in too few hands while ignoring and abusing your citizens will no longer be accepted. Unprovoked invasions will no longer be accepted. Harboring terrorists will no longer be accepted. You’ll be cutoff from trade and left to wither and die and if you invade another nation you’ll be swiftly and firmly rebuked.

At this point, it is important to point out that you are full of it.
Pay closer attention,.

The GOP has demonized Democrats. You think we haven’t seen the respelling of Democrats to demoncrats? So many things you’ve been told been built on lies and sound bites and snippets to make you think that Biden has dementia or that Nancy Pelosi is evil. Right now Putin is threatening a nuclear strike. Did you not hear that? Yeah 32% of Republicans think Putin’s a great guy Because he is “strong”. Who cares that there’s been so many missing and killed journalists in Russia. People being poisoned, so on and so forth. Putin is ex-KGB and he only has Russia’s best interest at heart. Biden is a US president who only has the US best interest at heart. I am not the OP. But the OP had a very simple question. The responses have been illuminating. The GOP followers are more patriots for Russia than they are patriots for the United States. but weirdly enough they feel that this patriotism to Russia means they are patriots to the US. So weird

So then you want full scale nuclear war. Thanks for helping me solidify my opposition to anything you say or anyone who thinks like you do.

The GOP followers find it easier to praise Putin than it is to praise Biden. And they don’t think they are brainwashed? They need to look at their sources, why did they think like that? Is it maybe because they been told that Putin is strong and a good world leader while Biden has dementia?

None of that would be legal. We can’t assassinate a head of state. We have no right to invade Russia and install a new regime. That is literally what Putin is doing. We have laws and a democratic process. None of your suggestions are justified.
