Republicans/“conservatives” who do you support: our American President or Putin?

Like Putin wasn't always planning to invade Ukraine. He just expected Trump would be POTUS and would give his overlord a "wink wink, nudge nudge, it's fine".

It’s perfectly reasonable to blame Biden for the horribly botched execution of the Afghanistan withdrawal. No one should blame Biden for Ukraine.

Anyone who thinks Trump wouldn't have botched the Afghanistan withdrawal (and remember, Trump was the one who negotiated the handover to the Taliban) is clueless and/or delusional.

I think we have our answer.

Elect Republicans and I can guarantee you that your (or someone’s kids are going to war). A losing war. Like the one your dumbass president bush started. And he was one of the less horrible modern day republicans, it turns out.

Oh, please - spare us all. Democrats are now the war mongers, who liken themselves to the World Police. Republicans prefer to stay out of wars unless they directly affect OUR country. How about you go on over to Ukraine and lend a hand at the front lines? Idiot.

Please correct me. But I believe it was a Republican President who led our US troops into Iraq, where thousands of Americans died. Please correct me again. But I believe President Biden has made clear that no US troops will be on the ground in Ukraine.

And afghanistan where the Taliban, not Al Qeda, were in charge,

This says it all, doesn’t it?

And maybe it was a Republican who said a little white lie about WMDs. Oops. Not like that resulted in any US troop deaths.

Trump tried to botch the Afghanistan withdrawal. He was stopped by generals. During his post-election meltdown, he issued an order to get all US forces out by 1/15/21. He didn’t go through the proper channels, so it was stopped. Pulling them out in a matter of weeks would have been a disaster.

We have no reason to go into Ukraine. We do have troops in neighboring NATO nations. I honestly hope Putin doesn’t try to attack any NATO nations. A world war would ensue, and the human toll would be devastating. That’s not even considering the potential devastation of war between the counties with the largest nuclear arsenals.

If we do get into war with Russia, I would consider moving myself and my family to an island in the Caribbean. I’m not sitting around the DC area, waiting to see if they’re going to nuke us.

If it comes to that, being in the Carribean isn't going to help.

Sure but I’m doubtful he will. All he cares about is that the military has the right diversity quota and that this won’t impact climate change.

If you think Biden has done nothing, then you are not paying attention. Try turning off Fox News for a change.

This.

The first PP just proved OPs point, better than OP could have.

Riiighhhhtt. Cuz the PP speaks for the entire GOP.

The OPs posed question is childish. Of course Putin is wrong and should be punished. We all support Biden in doing do. This does not prevent us from criticizing how Biden is handling the situation and how he and NATO currently look ineffective and weak. Time will tell how this all unfolds. By the way this also doesn’t mean that we don’t also blame Trump, Obama, and Bush for allowing Putin to grow more bold and powerful over the last two decades. We ourselves are also to blame for buying cheap goods from China for a long time simply because they are cheap due to their poor labor laws. We’ve made all this possible through are own greed, laziness, and lack of global morals. We create entitlement and artificial wage floors here, which drives manufacturing to China thereby causing a supply chain dependency on them, while simultaneously looking the other way as they run sweat shops. The bill is coming due. It always does sooner or later.

Now - all of you need to make a decision. Either get on board with western democracy, capital markets, and freedom and relentlessly demand it from our trading partners and stop all trade with countries that do not exhibit those same principals, or get out of here and go live in China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela or one of the other dictator/government oligarchy type countries please.
