I sort of agree. I feel like there is nothing specific because they haven't really lived there - it feels very new. Also, you don't see any of the family living areas. That's all entertaining space.

I love the black doors and huge windows. The dining room and kitchen dining area are wonderful. The dining room was my fave.
I like how she put the range where she wanted the range to suit her routine/lifestyle. I don't think I like the wall of dishes, but I might like it if it was more eclectic. I love the open shelves for the pots. I feel bad for her housekeepers though.

I liked the living room as a concept/entertaining room, which is what it is. No one hangs out in there and that's fine. That bar is cool.

Really would have loved to see one family area and the master bedroom.

That hammam spa is spectacular.

The off-center table in the entryway is triggering me.

she said they used that living room sectional all the time.

How is she so perfect and so good at everything?

I wish I were Gwyneth

I think it's beautiful- I love the kitchen and all of the pots/pans on shelves, the reclaimed tile backsplash, the beautiful reclaimed fireplace mantel, the dining room wallpaper, the b/w tile floor and many other materials. The spa is incredible- I can't imagine.

I hope this is sarcasm. The ability to throw hundreds of thousands of dollars at a decorator is not exactly a major accomplishment.

The kitchen and spa are dreamy, the hammock is a fun moment. Love the windows and doors. I bet the bedrooms and lounging areas not shown are cozy.

I like sterile modern looks but that furniture is ugly. The bar area is horrendous. Nice pool

The flooring choices are really beautiful.

Gah, I want doors like that. But if the spa shower fixtures each cost 30K(!), I can only imagine what they cost.

Its really so gross to say "look at what I have" also you are saying "Please come rob me. Here's what to expect."

Love the hammock, kitchen and the dining/sun room. But the seating all looks really uncomfortable. The bar is cool but I would never use it. I guess they must have a ton of parties, so a cool bar works well.

I assume that if it will be less pared down once the AD shoot is over, and they put in some actual family touches. This is like staging for sale, basically. Or maybe they don't live there enough to actually make it homey, and just use it to throw fabulous parties while on the west coast?

The part about the house should reflect the physicality of the owner was really insufferable. Gwyneth is tall and fine boned and blonde, so she gets neutrals and high ceilings....but you short, overweight plebes in the flyover zone are PERFECT for your overstuffed couches, wrinkled draperies and low ceilings.

The $63k hammock seems a little gimmicky to me

Oh my god the hammock was amazing. I would die for that, and the spa. The kitchen was nice (I mean, who am I kidding, way better than mine obviously).
I don't understand this trend (that's coming back) of these entrances with a table and nothing else. Hers was bigger than others. That's a huge room.... with just a table in it. And not a very big table. Just a small table. What's it for????
I think the only working fireplace seemed to be the one in the kitchen. That seems dumb too.
I hated the bar.
