Let's stop acting like this is just an unfortunate side effect of big boobs. I have big boobs. I am a 30E, and I never have this nipple issue. I wear bras which fit properly and successfully cover them (they aren't padded, that isn't the only option). If the seams of the bra are in the right place, they will cover the nipples. Kimberly Guilfoyle is a 50 year old woman that was formerly the ADA in San Francisco. It boggles my mind that she cannot find something more appropriate to wear to what is essentially a business function. (Although maybe to her, it's a date? Like when you wear a sexy dress to your husband's work party that you would never wear to your own work party?) The whole thing is mystifying and yes, makes me think of a TV show or movie where all the actresses wear sexy versions of what regular professional women would wear.

I assume the whole family is there because the President realized the speech was a bombshell that would cause the Dow Jones to spiral and wanted his kids and their randomly-employed-by-him S.O.s there for the historic occasion and to show solidarity? I guess Tiffany didn't get a +1, though.

But, on the fashion front, the white pantsuit is acceptable. Not something I would ever wear or covet, but passes the bare minimum test for acceptability. But get your hand out of your husband's lap while at a work function. (I think I had an 8th grade teacher tell me I wasn't allowed to hold hands like that with a bf during class movie time because it was inappropriate and made people uncomfortable....apparently she never had that teacher!)

This jacket is pulling across the test. It's not the most ill-fitting thing she's ever worn, but it definitely does not "fit" in the "properly tailored" sense of the word.

I'm short and relatively flat-chested (which brings it's own set of tailoring challenges), and I can appreciate that the selection for clothes that fit Ivanka's figure may be limited. But if I can take the time and have the resources to get 90% of my clothes tailored and frequently have to wistfully return or put back clothes that just can't be tailored to fit my body, Ivanka can do it too. She used to run a fashion label for goodness sake! It simply boggles the mind.

The problem is she is slim. Women as slim as her do not have those giant breasts. And it isn’t as easy as “get it tailored.” Suit jackets, for instance, if she went up another 2 sizes to accommodate her chest properly, it would ruin the entire fit. Everything from the shoulders being too wide, the arms baggy, the waist too big. It is nearly impossible to tailor something to that extreme and have it look good. If you want to be thin and have giant breasts your clothing options are limited to items with spandex or entirely custom made. Which she could afford, and should do. But items would take weeks-months to make.

PP you are responding to...and I totally understand that her clothing choices are likely quite limited. But, honestly, most women's are. I am not the former owner of an international fashion brand, daughter of an alleged billionaire, property heiress, or special adviser to the POTUS...nonetheless I can afford to have my clothes tailored and have enough items in my closet that I can wait a month or two if necessary (literally just got a text from my tailor that my last batch of clothes are ready after a month). If I can do this, Ivanka can.
