It’s not so much the “deception” of just this year it’s more that they built their whole identity on being this school that embraces nature and outdoor learning and when push came to show they decided against doing it. It will be a hurdle for sure and will definitely have some potential parents who will be less sold on the school now that it’s clear that doesn’t hold up.

Exactly. How is that your promotion tactic when at a time it would make sense, you forego. Meanwhile, other privates in Alexandria, VA have a smaller campus and opened.

Am I reading the schedule correctly that Thursday is the only school day this week (other than orientation hour)? Asynchronous on Friday even though it's day 2 of school?

The half day plan has been described as being developed to protect cohorts and specials teachers. For that reason in October if we really do transition to on campus in the mornings this will be done to allow specials to occur via zoom at home.

There is one special for 45 minutes per day 4 days a week. One day a week there are 2 specials, 90 minutes. Something is not adding up.

And some of the required screen time for middle school is GRADED MANDATORY PE. Makes no sense. Send them outside!
