Agreed. Similarly FCV may also fold. And Arlington may be kicked out of the DA. And Loudoun may be kicked out of ECNL when the DA folds so FCV can rejoin. And VDA will become the premier elite club in the area while McLean and BRYC fold.

It’s all a bunch of crap. Again, enjoy your popcorn because the value of this forum has been reduced to essentially nothing.

So you’re thinking the spirit out of DA rumor is just a rumor started on a parent forum? There’s no basis or truth for it? It’s simply made up to troll parents?

Correct. Spirit rumors are all troll parents. It's made up to discourage interest in Spirit.

FCV parents are the trolls. They do not want another strong club nearby to compete with them. They are already upset over Loudoun ending as a recruiting pipeline. Remember these same parents are so passionate or obsessed over how they compete that they fight each other on the sidelines when games don't go well.

Different poster. It’s pretty clear much of the rumor set here is from trolling parents. If someone actually goes back and reads some of the ridiculous things posted here in the past and then follows them through to the actual outcomes, it’s very easy to see that.

The elite clubs are particularly targets, especially Spirit, FCV, McLean, and BRYC.

If that's your position, dont believe them and move on. It's that simple.

All it takes for wickedness to triumph is for goodness and truth to stand by and do nothing.

Why should anyone let lies stand and allow those not in the know to be swayed by complete garbage?

and the FCV stuff because the sideline fighting and falling interest in the club is well known.

Even if Baltimore Armour were to split off on its own, that wouldn’t hurt Spirit VA. Rather, it may help to focus resources on the VA team, which already had a commitment from the owner and CEO.

I'd put a degree of confidence with Baltimore Armour getting the DA outright. Spirit MD is pretty much run by Pipeline and Armour anyway. It is all in how they handle the licensing of Spirit if they wish to maintain the pro connection or not. If Spirit was going to make a name for themselves in DA the MD side offers less resistance to gain traction than overly saturated NoVA does.

Dumb. Resources for each team are completely separate. Not happening.

Not dumb. Spirit provides resources for both currently. Coaching staffs are separate but under Spirit central management.

In the vein of the other troll posts, we know you are an anti-Spirit VA troll. Enjoy your garbage posts and wasting everyone’s time in yet another thread. Congratulations, you win the record for derailing the most threads with complete nonsense!

If anything, money paid by DA parents is partially being used to subsidize the pro team. Not vice-versa.

Another DA defection to ECNL this month...

The Girls Elite Clubs National League is excited to announce that Rebels Soccer Club will be joining the Girls ECNL beginning in the 2019-2020 ECNL Season.
Rebels SC was founded in 1982 in Chula Vista, CA, and currently has over 120 teams. With dozens of college commits over the past several years, and a USYS National Championship in 2018, Rebels SC has built a strong reputation in the Southern California market by developing high-quality teams and players with a holistic development perspective.

“Being accepted to and joining ECNL is a tremendous moment for our club,” said Rebels SC Executive Director, Ryan Marquez. “Our goal has always been to push our girls teams to compete at the highest level possible while maintaining our possession soccer identity. ECNL is made up of the highest caliber teams and we take pride that our players will now have an opportunity to play against the best teams in the country.”

“We are pleased to welcome Rebels SC to the league as one of the top programs in the region,” said ECNL Commissioner, Jen Winnagle. “Rebels SC will provide presence in a new market in California and will strengthen the Southwest Conference overall. We look forward to working with the club and supporting their growth as they move into the nation’s top league for female youth players.”

The ECNL was created to serve players, coaches, and clubs within a holistic development environment that collaboratively raises standards in all areas of the game. Through its programming, the ECNL and its member clubs seek to lead innovation and improvement in youth club soccer, facilitate the development of the next generation of collegiate stars and national team players, and support the success of US Soccer’s national teams.
