UVA student missing

I still think they need to look at 14th and Wertland, where she said she was lost, and the fact that two sexual assaults occurred in that area shortly after HG went missing. It very well could've been that she got a ride back from him, but, not wanting him to know exactly where she lived, asked him to drop her off at a location not exactly in front of her place...I've done that before! It could be that she ran into a gang of do no gooders...she was a big gal...how could one person get rid of her?

Huh?

Apparently pp knows something even the police don't know.

No. The police officer at the press conference seemed to be implying that they suspect that the Matthew guy did it.

I took away from the press conference, that the police chief takes speeding very, very, VERY seriously, and is feeling the heat to look like a tough guy who knows what he's doing, especially considering the history of missing young women in the area.

It is sad to me that even if they find out what happened, it is likely to not be good news.

The police sometimes arrest suspects on other minor violations to stall for time when looking for more evidence in on going cases.

Wondering if the guy gave her a ride but she passed out or worse. They should see if the hospital he works at has footage of him, he could likely hide or got rid of her there???
Don't know what nurse has access to but worth checking!

It sounds as though the guy was speeding in a way that put innocent people at risk. He seems that did not appreciate being overtly followed by the police but that doesn't give him the right to disregard speed limit laws and put other lives in jeopardy.

The police have to keep an eye on this guy and keep tabs on his whereabouts until forensics come back. If he's innocent, forensics should help to clear him. If forensics does find something they will need to address that.

Easy to keep tabs on him if they put him in jail on the driving charges. And if he is out on bail, he can't just leave the area like he could if there weren't any charges against him. Wonder if he is a flight risk--at the press conference, the officer said that people everwhere including outside the US should be on the lookout for him.

I'm sure that flight is a concern given the circumstances. But, also, this is the last person known to be seen with Hannah before she disappeared and he has stopped talking to police. I'm sure that there are worries that he knows more than he has told them - they don't want him fleeing, destroying evidence. And they may also hope that he might lead them to Hannah, wherever she may be.

Who knows, he might say that she died from alcohol poisoning in his car. And he panicked and got rid of her body because he has a criminal record and is black.

It seems like she wasn't that drunk if she was running and walking long distances. She wasn't stumbling, she was quite directed in her running and walking. If she was really, really drunk at 1:00 a.m. seems like she would have been stumbling and tired, and either fall down or sit down and pass out.

I wonder if she was given something that accellerated her nervous system and kept her from thinking straight and seeking help from the people who worked at the bar or who were on the mall.

If she was drunk enough to have alcohol poisoning, she would have been stumbling around.

The Medical School does have a room where they keep corpses for dissection. I hope they checked those!

Maybe he gave her something and she unexpectedly died in his car so he ditched her body.

Did you see the videos? She can't walk straight.

I saw the videos of her walking. She appeared to stumble as she stepped off of a curb outside of the pub. But beyond that she looked like she was walking (even running) pretty steadily and with purpose. Now obviously she was presumably impaired enough to attract attention to herself so what we see on the video is only part of the story. But she does not look at all falling-down-drunk to me.

But even one extra drink could have quickly pushed her beyond that tipping point.

I know this sounds cuckoo crazy, but I feel it's worth consulting with a credible psychic to get an idea about her whereabouts. What's there to lose?
