Republicans have already changed ROE(basically there are none - Venezuelan fishing boats). Now they just have to get loyalists like general Michael Flynn in place. Hegseth’s speech all about violence, killing and oppression. Lose ROE did not help the Germans, Japanese, Israelis, etc.

Trump wants cities like Portland, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Pittsburgh, etc to burn like Gaza. Why else make a statement saying the US military will use US blue cities as training grounds? Could you imagine in a Democracy had said that?

If “security checkpoints” are at government buildings, yes, they will take your gun. It’s a similar procedure to the TSA at IAD or DCA.

Any stops on city streets where they find unregistered guns, illegally possessed guns, illegally concealed guns and stolen guns would obviously lead to felony arrests and removal of the firearms. Why are you glossing over this? Why are you not more concerned that 222 firearms fell into these alarming categories?

I see you did not link the article and made things up. The Trump AG in DC said they would not prosecute people for carrying shotguns or rifles. This was not link to registration, stolen guns, ccw, etc. or hand guns.

Now go get your shotgun or rifle and start walking around DC. You will not come back with your weapons. They will at a minimum seize those weapons.
