If “security checkpoints” are at government buildings, yes, they will take your gun. It’s a similar procedure to the TSA at IAD or DCA.

Any stops on city streets where they find unregistered guns, illegally possessed guns, illegally concealed guns and stolen guns would obviously lead to felony arrests and removal of the firearms. Why are you glossing over this? Why are you not more concerned that 222 firearms fell into these alarming categories?
