How was the 2013 girls ID session tonight? Any views on how that team will compare to Arlington or Union, or to non-NOVA MA ECNL teams?

Remarkably observant. They’re also girls. And soccer players. Your point?

The point is trying to predict how a group of 11 year olds will compare with another group of 11 year olds in 6-12 months is impossible. Teams and players change so much during that time. It’s like trying to guess if it will rain on March 5 a year from now. Some will turn out to be right but it’s by chance not knowledge.

Is the improvement entirely from recruiting or does the club develop any of its own players? How many of the U13 players are still with the club by U16?

You have to understand that the results for VDA this year are not typical. When BP left FCV and came over to VDA, many of the top FCV players followed him over to VDA, so they received an influx of good players, and essentially became a powerhouse because of it. Will that continue moving forward? Time will tell, but the combined teams are very good.

How many FCV players came to VDA with BP?

Not as many as you think, 08's had probably the most. 11/10/09 not many, 2-3 each age maybe?

The 10s brought over 5 or 6 from FCV

You're thinking 08's, 10's only brought in 3.

For the 2024/25 season the VDA 10s acquired 4 field players and 1 goalie

Mid-season acquisition as well.

What else is it called? 10's were able to get a player moved over from a competing club mid year.

LSC’s BOD to blame for that.

Are rosters pretty much done at VDA? Why hold tryouts end of March if offers are all out?

Anyone get an offer yet? The 2011 pool looked good last night but BP has favorites and they don’t always have skills to match.

Are you asking about boys or girls?

FCV had to die so the rest of us might live.

Is that Football Christ?

We know you are trying to be funny but it's not working. This is a sad attempt. Go to bed.
