The Trump women and their fashion mishaps thread

Hate Ivanka's dress for the wedding. Seriously yikes.

Melania's is at LEAST appropriate for the occasion. I think when she fights with Donald she dresses frumpy to piss him off--like he wants her to look sexy at all times.

Melania looks great with her hair up but I think she likes the long hair to hide her facial expressions.

Got to say kudos to the Australian PM's wife for her fake enjoyment since they arrived this morning. Was she an actress? She is the only one who actually looks alive.

I’d buy that.

I used to have a dress with a very similar cut and belt when I was stock thin and I loved it. (Mine was cherry red though). I also like the shoes although I could never wear them.
I also loved the blue dress she wore today for the Australian Pm’s Speech, although again the fit was not right around the chest and waist.
I’m flat chested and have always longed for boobs, but they are such a good example of why you don’t want to go too big (unless you’re a porn Star, in which case your ROI is important). Both M and I seem to think they can dress like skinny girls even though they have the gazongas, and it’s not working.

Holy cow she is really starting to look like the cat lady jocelyn wildenstein - stop with the plastic surgery, melanie!

I don't know guys - I actually like this dress! Sure it's preposterously low cut but I like the cape (genuinely) and the Wonder Woman belt (also genuinely)

I said that a few pages up. I think the dress is getting hate because, once again, it isn’t tailored properly. She’s falling out of it on one side. Excusable for an ordinary woman who buys nordstrom’s on sale off the rack but surprising for someone paying the amount she is for clothes. I guess it happens to movie stars too.

Melania is slim but she needs Spanx and a good minimizer bra for this. She also looks like she’s on steroids/sick, or had eye work done. She cannot open her eyes!

I don't get the steroids comments. Are there women who willingly go on steroids. Is it a beauty thing?

No, I think the comments are just an alternative explanation for why she looks so puffy in the face. Three explanations are posited—pregnancy, steroids, or fillers.

I think Betty Ford wore it better. In 1975, where it belonged.

Has she ever worn her hair up? She's so bland
She did on Inauguration Day but I haven’t seen it that way since.

And, my god, I don’t think we are tearing this dress to shreds enough. The front view is OK but the profile view is horrifying.

I dont hate the dress. At least it is appropriate for the occasion.

But I havent seen Melania this pissed since the Hope Hicks trips. Is there a new "Hopie" in town?

We may need a caption contest for this.

The mint thing is awful. Like a really ugly nightgown for a child in a Peter Pan play. It’s not even a good color for her. I can’t imagine what she was she was thinking.

It reminds me of that episode of Modern Family where Gloria decides to dress really frumpy to show Jay what it would be like if she weren't super hot, and ah ha he prefers when she's hot
