Jesse Hubbard was really good back then for St Albans, his brother was also great.

Any scrimmages this weekend?

Late 80's...a simpler time.

The big dogs back then were Landon, and then everyone else.....Churchill didn't have a club in the late 80's, it was Bethesda Lacrosse Club. McLean LC, Vienna LC, and Robinson HS all had competitive teams. Gonzaga, St.John's, Prep, and St. Albans, lost to the NoVa Clubs and BLC regularly. Dematha was a distant second to Landon, but the WALL tourney was always interesting. It would be cool to bring back the WALL, Where all the top teams in the area play for the Washington D.C. metro crown.

I thought Good Counsel fielded some decent teams in the 80s and 90s.

Saint Andrew’s (at their old location in Bethesda) had a decent program at the time as well.

Crazy to see how far things have come in the DC region for HS lacrosse.

I guess we will forget about the Bullis result?

I believe the Bullis - Spalding contest was a scrimmage not an official game.

Regardless, impressive win opening season win for Spalding yesterday against traditional Philly power, Malvern Prep.

As a Bullis fan, very impressive. Go Spalding! Way to represent. For too long they have not been able to get it going. Nice to see their program develop from the bottom up.

Good to see some new blood in the area.
Those St. Mary’s families must be salty!

Spalding has fielded some competitive teams in the past in the MIAA but I don't think they have ever even won a playoff game.

Its a big Catholic school with solid facilities. As lacrosse continues to grow in popularity, there should be no reason why Spalding can't compete with the bluebood traditional powers in North Baltimore (Boys Latin, St. Pauls, Gilman, and Loyola)

Never won or
Made the playoffs if they don’t do it this year never will. 22’s backup can’t support the team next year and their 23 class is very weak.

Was the SJC - Culver matchup a game or scrimmage?

Are they play any other teams from the MIAA or WCAC?

I assume the IAC is not doing anything until April

All SJC games are scrimmages but Culver wore full unis. Getting them in while they can before MIAA gets going as its going conference play only. WCAC games start May 1 and going conference only. IAC is not happening this year. Landon and Prep are not playing. We'll see about Bullis and SSSAS.

IAC starts on April 15th
