Where do you think Malia Obama will enroll?

Where could she go that no one's gone before?

I mean just not feeling pressure to go where the last presidential daughter went. By all accounts, Chelsea is very smart and a great student, but I think she's struggled to find her place professionally. Maybe that's the curse of all the attention on her from such a young age.

Howard or Spelman are great choices to name a few HBCUs.

Guess I wasn't fit for Bullis then according to that poster.

Are you kidding? Everyone's a fit for Bullis. They literally take anyone willing to pay.

Or great at sports!

I'd be willing to bet she won't be attending Liberty University.

True.

I'd be willing to bet she won't be attending any HBCU either.

Liberty just announced plans for their students to keep guns in their dorm rooms for protection. Run. Run far away.

Many of the PPs assume that she has applied early somewhere. Perhaps that's true, but it's more logical that she would wait, apply in the regular process and make a decision among various admission offers. The reality is that she will get in virtually anywhere she applies.

I think she wants to be like a normal kid going through the process. Virtually everyone applies early these days.

If she's really interested in HYPS, then why not apply SCEA to one of them? It's nice going into Christmas knowing that you've been accepted to one of your top choices. Then she can still go ahead and apply to other schools, including ones like Brown and/or Columbia, that would have been restrictive if she applied Early Decision
