Where do you think Malia Obama will enroll?

I seriously wonder how much this comes into play, if at all.

Because her parents are graduates of Columbia, Harvard and Princeton. I'd expect anyone's offspring with those credentials to be Ivy League material.

Seriously?

+1. The errant, superfluous "at" grates on my nerves.

My guess is she won't go to Columbia. Princeton - mother's alma mater, or for something different for the family - Yale.

My parents have three Harvard degrees between the two of them. The real ones, not the Kennedy School stuff. I was not Ivy League material. My sister was, however--albeit at a lesser Ivy. But I had to settle for a top 25 public school.

What's interesting is that the potus glibly puts down 'art history majors' (i'm not one but I like art history) and politicians all over the country talk about 'stem' but you don't find many high level politician kids going into stem.

I wonder why

A president's offspring will be given a well-paying job irrespective of his/her major - something that is not as easily available to the average individual who does not have a major for which there are job opportunities.

Obviously this. Liberal arts/ performing arts are courses of study only the upper echelon is encouraged to explore - because they'll have a cushy job lined up in finance after they've finished "finding themselves."

I wish the Obamas would have kept it real and sent their kids to public school, like Amy Carter, who was accepted into Brown.

Hopefully a school where they will teach her better grammar and writing skills than you've displayed here. I'm sorry but, "enroll at?" That hurts my brain.

According to the above article, she has visited Harvard, Tufts, Stanford, Berkeley, NYU, Columbia, Brown, Yale, Princeton and Wesleyan.

I would put Harvard, Stanford and Columbia as the top 3 most likely.

Shouldn't it be "where do you think Malia Obama matriculate?"

Yes, accepted into Brown. This is one of the biggest urban myths out there, she neither graduated from DC public schools (she did from a private school back in Georgia) nor did she graduate from Brown University.
