Are you serious? Chuck Schumer would be 79 years old in January 2029. He'd be a less charming Joe Biden. |
| We all know it’s Bernie’s turn. Keep the octogenarian candidates coming. |
DJTrump vs Mandani 2020. If we're going to have a constitutional crisis, let's do it right. |

Is there a complete void of Democrats with national standing between the age of 40 and 80?
Thanks, Pelosi and Feinstein! |
She didn’t even know the three branches of government a few years ago. Although to be fair, I don’t think Trump knows. That’s like the first question on the US citizenship test for immigrants along with the number of each in the Senate and House and SC and most Americans have no idea |
Jon Stewart? |
|
After Trump, why not Jon?
The daily show and the satirical style toward George W Bush was very popular in the Middle East. He’s also popular with millennials. He’s a familiar TV face just like Trump. He’s Jewish but has not been a fan of Benjamin Netanyahu and the war in Gaza. Call me crazy but I think he has a chance. |
| I think Democrats need to look outside the box and outside of Washington and politics for viable candidates. Trump was an unexpected unorthodox candidate and he won. We are at a time in America where media candidates (Jon Stewart, Tucker Carlson, Chris cuomo, etc) may be more viable than Washington candidates |
I’m tired of media personalities in politics. |
I’m tired of politicians in politics. |
| Like the president of Ukraine |
No, there are lots. There’s a void of superhuman, walks-on-water saviors, which is what the electorate has come to believe we deserve in a President. If you look at history many of our best Presidents weren’t visionaries- just stable, sensible executives that solved problems as they arose. Maybe its time to scale back expectations about the role of the American Presidency, rather than always looking for Superman. |
She does know the three branches of government, but her would-be critics are still mired in stupidity over when she stumbled on a a policy question all the way back in 2018. But to watch her now she is sharper than most people in Congress, and certainly understands the roles and responsibilities of the three branches better than the oaf currently serving as president. |
He's based. |
