Or Pete Buttigieg

Midterms outcome will determine everything!

We need candidates capable of a two term presidency.

House Speaker & Cabinet appointees are critical.

Clean house from top to bottom.

Balls to the wall administration utilizing presidential immunity and EOs to slap Supreme Court Injustices with term limits and expansion.

We still hold Judicial majority, thanks to Biden!

Dems have an incredible pool of candidates for all of the above, and they need to coalesce into one strategic army.

Buttigieg is going to get rid of Schumer?
Poster above you. My mistake. Can’t oust Schumer, he’s not a senator. He decided not to run for Michigan seat despite moving there with his family. Definitely means he’s gunning for 2028 nominee.

AOC has House Dems buzzing for her to primary Schumer. She has a massive grassroots fundraising war chest and ~40 million followers on social media. She does a live Sunday “Yap” Q&A on IG reels / TikTok and posts many of their responses on screen in real time.

We really do have great candidates who can wear many hats.

AOC vs Schumer would be a true battle between a people first politician and the wealthy sleaze that has ruined American politics. I'd be all in for AOC if I were a New Yorker. It would be interesting to see if the people could overtake the money in such a high profile race.

I could see Schumer retiring rather than facing her. He's already out of touch and nobody needs him for another six-year term, at the end of which he'd be 84 years old.

I would hope so but as we've seen in recent years, elderly powerful people tend to want to hang on to their power well past time for them to go.

Do we think she's electable outside NY?

New Yorker here. I love AOC. She is an incredibly gifted politician. If she were a man, I would think yes.

Did you see her response when asked about running for president?
‘My ambition is much bigger than that…’

Best answer I have ever heard to that question.

Ossoff

I'm a big fan of Ossoff but given the mess we're in with Israel I'm not sure we're ready for a Jewish president. And I say this as a Jew.

Yes, that's a great answer for someone who knows they would never in a million years win the presidency. "Oh, but I didn't even want it. My ambition is SO MUCH BIGGER than that." Too funny.

I’ve posted this a few times in different threads.Look, if it’s gonna be a Jew, it better be Ossoff 😍 But I agree with others that he’s very much needed in GA. He’s young with a promising future.

No.

Honestly, that's a good race for Democrats. No more 80 year olds, or wives of former presidents, or accidental vice presidents shoved into a race at the last minute. Democrats haven't had a proper race in a gazillion years.

A Newsom and AOC match up will be very clarifying for Democrats. And whoever wins that will likely win the White House in 2028.

If these are your two high flyers, then democrats are in more trouble than I thought.

That person is living inside a serious bubble or is just a troll. I’m a progressive originally from a purple state that works with progressives from lots of different states.

I like Ossoff. I despise Netanyahu and by extension the entire state of Israel for their continued support of Netanyahu and Ben Gvir. I would vote for Ossoff because he puts America first. I would not vote for Josh Shapiro because I believe that he believes Israel is his first love, and America a close second. Shapiro is Lieberman all over again on that score. I don’t feel like that’s Ossoff, and although he is not ready to go nationwide, I think he is someone I could get behind in the future as potus.

He was born in Uganda, so not happening.

There is no obvious front runner now - in either party. This will be the most chaotic nomination process we've seen in a long time.

Lmao, this country elected Donald Trump, twice. Rapist and pedophile. Conman and crook.

AOC is 43 years younger than Trump and much more intelligent. She will have decades to dance on his grave and think about running for president.

He’s running NYC, and doing it like a boss. Why would you stop doing that to have to deal with a much of filthy MAGAs?

Best answer yet - a guy who's ineligible for the job.
