Marketing for what? An abducted 4 year old?

One of the largest supporters of Jews and Israel is none other than Steve Bannon

Steve Bannon isn’t in office (fortunately). Joe Biden is, and his allyship, along with folks like Fetterman, is most apparent to me. And I’m grateful for that.

The split in the Democrats is inevitable at some point, it's already happening subtly. Don't delude yourself. The moderates are all old dinosaurs. The activists are not moderate and they are not supporting Israel. They justify the atrocities of October 7 because in their book it's fighting oppression. It doesn't matter Hamas is anything but progressive as the Queers for Palestine and feminists for Palestine groups tell you. It doesn't matter to them the nature of how people and children were killed and tortured. Those activists are in the WH, such as Biden's awful press secretary, they're young officials and bureaucrats at the State department. They're college professors and writers for the NYT.

Just look at Britain and the Labour party as a harbinger of what to come.

The one thing I'll say about the Republicans is that they immediately see evil for what it is, something an increasing number of Democrats have to struggle with. And many Jews are starting to realize this. It's an unpleasant reckoning but the sooner you realize this the better off you'll be.

+100 especially the bolded.

Oh, yes. They were quick to denounce evil when white supremacists marched on Charlottesville shouting, “Jews will not replace us”. There’s no question antisemitism is growing on the far left, but let’s stop pretending the GOP is the epitome of allyship.

It’s very interesting how ethnocentric Jews in Israel are when it comes to borders and migration policy but support open borders in their diasporic temporary homes
🤨 🧐

Only a few Jews like Stephen miller are consistent

“Diasporic temporary homes”? What is that supposed to mean?

Jews outside of Israel heavily support small-l liberalized borders (HIAS, for example, 1965 immigration law overturning Coolidge immigration laws from the 20s), multiculturalism in Europe (Barbara specter), etc

I.E. diaspora jews

Very different in positioning on these topics vs Jews in their natural homes in Israel

I’m asking WTH you mean by “diasporic temporary home” vs “natural home.”

Is my home in the USA temporary in your mind?

You don’t have to understand it. But don’t tear them down.

No, they clearly are not meant to “help find this kid” since the kid isn’t in Philly

So I could care less if they are torn down or not. They clearly have ulterior motives - these aren’t milk carton advertisements

I’m all for putting up flyers if these abductees are here

I don’t know about that. I was pretty horrified at the separation of children from their parents at the border and I didn’t see republicans protesting that. And I would love to think that the right are Allies for jews because the left has severely disappointed

Over the long arc of history, yes.

Seeing an acknowledgement that someone is concerned that Jewish people are suffering makes your eyes itch.

If people can protest for Palestine in the streets others can put up posters as a form of advocacy and awareness. It’s to remind the world that there are hostages taken by Hamas out there. If you are for free speech you would be ok with the posters too.

I can’t really understand the need some people have to rip them up. Are people who do this just miserable?

So you admit these are political statements

Well it’s a cringe way of making it.

Keep foreign political statements outside of the us

Poster you are replying to:

People shouldn’t protest for Palestine either!

A poster that says “From the River to the Sea” in what you weirdly call “Philly”—is “Palestine” in “Philly”?

Because all the current protests are due to domestic U.S. issues…

Jews in the us better be preparing
It will be horrific once republicans take over in 2024=

In the US chabad cult and Lubbers and conservatives are republicans stupidly standing with Nazis that will ultimately destroy all Jews in the US. Am I as a Jew surprised no. Are k6 grandparents rolling I. Their graves hell yes. And yes chabad and lubbers are cult members much like afganastan do not educate their daughters

It sickens me my own standing with the Nazi party and don’t tell me trumpets are nit Nazi supporters the amount of hate towards Jews with Nazi symbols and language has increased 1000 percent since trump took office
